Your card must give a keyword and/or a beneficial enchantment (often colloquially termed a "buff") to a minion in play. This may be permanent like Mark of the Wild, temporary like Abusive Sergeant, or even an "aura" effect like Wee Spellstopper. If the "buff" also comes with a downside, like Power Overwhelming, then it may only be applied to friendly minions.
We have whittled down ~160 valid entries to just 20 of the community's favorites. Check out all the finalists below and vote in our poll (vote for as many or as few as you like) to help decide the winner and be sure to check back after the poll finishes for the announcement of the winner and the start of a new theme!
Do you Beliefin Magic? and Murloc Champion are too based on other cards to be considered creative design. (Everyfin is Awesome and Demonfire respecively)
Blizzard literally does that shit all the time (eg. Corrupted Seer & Demonwrath). Are you saying it's not "creative design" to think like the actual designers of the game?
I must say that this is the best final poll I have seen yet from these competitions, I had a hard to choosing which card(s) to vote for. That said, there are a big proportion of powerful cards in the bunch, but the creativity of the cards are awesome. Good luck to ALL the finalists, you ALL deserve to be here :)
There are always a couple of cards like "hey it's this card, but a Murloc!" in this competition. I feel like we should support cards that do something new and think outside the box rather than recycling a concept and changing the class/tribe. There is nothing "bad" about your design, but I would rather vote for the more creative entries. This is a competition after all.
I agree with you, while I do like cards like 'Do you Beliefin Magic?', I will always vote for the cards that bring new ideas and concepts into the game. The only way I would vote for remake cards or recycling mechanics is if they amaze me in their design, and while the before mentioned card is well designed and interesting, there are definitely cards that amaze me more, one of the factors being because they introduce new ideas and concepts.
I can't believe my card got into the finals in my first competition! Thanks to anyone who voted for it. One note on Impatient Berserker, most of the time it's just a 5/5 for 4 because you can choose what to attack before your turn starts, and the times it's not a 5/5 will either be lag or long cast times for cards. Either of those options are really annoying for the player. I love the concept, I just don't think timed cards work well in Hearthstone. I mean, look at Nozdormu. My favorite card would be Radiant Hammer, just because of how cool the situations you can set up with it can be by giving everything taunt. It's versatile, skill-based, and a cool concept overall. Definitely gets my vote.
This week competition is very board in terms of theme and application so It is nice to see some card show simple and creative cards that look nice. I vote for One Man Army, Avatar and Light and Dark, good job you all.
yay! second time I got to the finals. good luck to everyone.
to a prior comment around leash the hounds being designed around unleash the hounds. first, it is my version of the opposite of unleash the hounds and it can be immensely powerful. the following is the statlines of the each minion with the combo.
3/6/9/12/15/18/21
any vanilla drop that summons a second guy usually gets 1 or 2 extra stats such as silver hand knight or force of nature. the base stat that would meet this baseline would be 3 minions. anything above that is excess value. at 7 minions, you're probably playing against an aggro deck and just made a taunt line along with 21 stats. even a vanilla 10 drop doesn't have 21 stats. also, if I didn't include the "have not yet attacked" then it would lead to a 7 mana with 7 damage more then likely to the face. that kinda defeats the point of making a huge beast wall. also since it only affects beasts that haven't attacked that means you can attack with a beast you want to protect or give everything +2/+2 for trading. I also think its balanced since houndmaster has almost the same effect (doesn't have the have not attacked restriction) and loses 2 stats for it.
overall, I may have missed a combo that may be broken but I took into account several existing cards to balance this. the cards used for the +2/+2 buff: everyfin is awesome, wisps of the old gods, houndmaster (+2/+2 is valued at 6 mana and can be lowered be having a specific component). force of nature savage roar was used as the bench mark for a combo that's too good (dealing damage while setting up a huge wall to have to clear). unleash the hounds (since charge is usually where overpowered or my preferred term of feeling unfair happens).
My first time in finals. Thanks to everyone who voted for my card, I appreciate that.
Although there were not a as many entries this week, there are a lot of new, interesting cards, mechanic, and concepts. I especially like Guard Captain Yarrick, it's a lovely design.
Good luck to all the participants, and may the best one win!
P.S. Special thanks to GearOFF, his critics helped me a lot to balance the card.
Hello, folks! My sincerest apologies, it seems that the other mods and I got our wires crossed in terms of our schedules and who was able to put up the new competition for today. Worry not, there will be a new competition today. We thank you for your patience. =)

"Avatar" by Demonic_Tutor_Zardikar (nice buff)
"Twilight Elixir" by PRKSlayer (I miss a card like this in the game, clever concept)
Really like Guard Captain Yarrick, but is he a WoW character?
Sadness.
Impatient Berserker, Frostwolf Champion, and Leap of Faith.

Congratulations The_Edel_Bernal, well done. :)
Check out my submission for this weeks card design competition; or my other fan creations! Nullius in verba
The dream of winning the weekly competition my first time is gone forever. GG to Edel Bernal, your card was awesome :)
Great job Edel, your card definitely deserved to win :)
Ah I missed it. I even made it. D:

Now I need to think of a theme for future competition, hmm...
