You have a point there, I guess it slipped without anyone noticing. We'll discuss that. Though there will be review phase to deal with this kind of stuff, so rest easy.

Normally I wouldn't comment on the cards, but Water Elementalist is crazy OP. That's auto-include in like pretty much any deck. For only three less stats than Fire Elemental, it does 1 more damage, plus it has the amazing versatile of being able to heal instead if that's what you need. And Fire Elemental is a class card. A neutral shouldn't be better than it (and this is, definitely). It's also way better than Bomb Lobber. This needs a major fix.
So it has come to this again :) Thanks for pointing that out. Since we're not actually in reviewing phase for neutrals, I'll just give some considerations and hotfixes. For the regular mana cost you get a bigger, slightly overcosted Earthen Ring Farseer (overcosted by ~0.75 mana), for the second you get a Fire Ele, losing out on half a mana (purely numbers, but since it's neutral, reach-y and deals 4 as opposed to 3, value goes up (seems like I didn't do that thorough a job of calculating it the first time around, I also didn't consider Bomb Lobber, good call)) and versatility compensates a lot, more than just the 0,75 or the 0,5 mana... And that's without taking possible synergies into account. I wonder how we all missed this...
Hotfix (consideration for reviewing team): 5 mana 4/3 restoring 3 Health, lowering the value of both costs with ~0,83 mana. How does this feel? (Could also be a 3/3 or even just raise the mana by (1), keep stats, restore 3)
Not sure how appropriate it is to do this right now in this thread, but it should work.

I think that hotfix would work. It would still be a very good card, but not overpowered. I think the biggest issue in balancing this is that changing from 4 healing to 4 damage is worth more than 1 mana (Compare, e.g., Holy Light and Fireball). You could make the healing option less mediocre if you upped to Sink to 2.

I've been thinking about this. The real problem is with the imbalance between the two costs and their effects. It's hard to balance cards with multiple options, especially those with different strategies, just look at AoW for example, completely skewed towards Rooted. Because the strategies behind the choices are different (aggresive vs defensive), yet the method is the same (board development). This card has choices with different strategies, but utilising different methods too, which complement each other (which is why a card like Living Roots is good, even moreso since the strategy is the same).
New hotfix (consideration) - Up the sink cost to (2), make the body a 3/4 (might need some input on this one), keep other numbers. This will restore 4 Health for 2 mana or deal 4 damage for 4 mana.

I'm not in charge of my team (team Baron Longshore) but it's been pretty quiet in our group chat for a week so I don't know who else is still active. Should I just submit some cards. I proposed a list to my team and no one really challenged it but obviously I don't want to override everyone else.

I managed to get at least one person to respond :P so I'll see if we can reach a consensus today or tomorrow and then send over the final list over. :)

Tuskarr Fisherman should be an epic but other than that all good to go.
Wait, how is Abyssal Horror supposed to work? Does it discard at the end of the turn so you must play it on curve, or do you have to obtain it through other means than drawing? If the second version is correct, I really like it.

I think the second version. So you can start with it in your opening hand, or home to summon or discover it. I wish it said "discard it and draw another card" so it could at least cycle if you had it in your deck. Otherwise I like the idea.
You'd have to either get it in your opening hand, or draw it out of your deck with desert camel. And the warlock team made some discard synergy. Maybe it could be tweaked to draw a card when discarded? The final balance team can tweak that.

I'm really liking the in really liking all the submitted neutral cards! There's a lot of variety and interesting effects. Sure, some rebalancing may be needed, but good job to everyone so far!
My team, Team Captain Cookie, still needs to submit. I know we had some polls running for our cards, but I'm not sure how many people participated or what the current winners are. We had a bunch of team members disappear, including the leader.
Bloodsail Grouper seems very strong. The fact that it can be a 2 mana 3/2 or a 3 mana 3/4 is perhaps a little bit much. Maybe if it gained +1/+1 instead so that way it would not have optimal stat distribution in both mana costs.
Southsea Swordsmith is also too powerful. Should cost 6. Wounded Murloc as well. It's downside is too slow to matter. It's functionally a 3 mana 4/4. If it lost health at the end of your turn it would be slightly more balanced because it would die a little faster.

It's a vanilla minion in both scenarios and it's available to all classes so I really don't see a problem with it.

I do get what he's saying though. The versatility of this card outclasses both Spider Tank as well as Bloodfen Raptor, the latter even in absolute way since it's a beast as well. Even moreso in arena. I don't think his request is unreasonable, but I also don't think it deserves high priority. It's not OP after all, but definitely stronger than current neutrals.
Also, tokens? Bait and Diver? @Longshore too: Angry Crab?
