I know it's a bit late in terms of the set rotation, but there wasn't a restriction in the contest rules about that...I'd like to think that a card like this one was what was lacking to make Pirate Rogue viable back in the GvG 'era'. Please note Ship's Cannon damage is non-random with Barbary Gunner in play.
A card that combines beast and token archetypes. Or, it combines beast and Malygos Druids. It had potential for both. Curves out right after Druid of the claw, you combo with it on turn 10 with swipe for board clear. You need a beast on board though, so board control is still the most important factor.
The idea behind this is that turn 1/2, say you killed a Silver Hand Recruit, a Novice Engineer, Jeweled Scarab, or a Webspinner, the following turn you can then most certainly kill most 2 - 3 drop minion with the 2 attack, without triggering the +1 attack.
This enables a weird version of Fatigue Warlock, something that's been attempted before with Dreadsteed and Sir Finley Mrrgglton. Not only do you continue to get something at least somewhat playable in the form of Imps, but you also don't take fatigue damage.
Shoggoths are a race of amorphous, shapeless beings, created to serve the Elder Gods. They were said to form impossible shapes, constantly twisting and shifting into ever-maddening forms. They are part of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos.
This minion is to 4-drops what Yogg-Saron is to 10-drops. There is at least a 50% chance that it'll at least get the stats of a basic 4-drop - and a chance for it to get even bigger, or smaller. You could get a War Golem, Magma Rager, bad Angry Chicken, or anything in between.

Skitters. Taste the rainbow.
Mechanic Notes:
note: the card text says destroy and replace instead of transform, so if it replaces a minion with deathrattle, the deathrattle still triggers
Endless Imps. MAKE IT STOP!
