This Week's Finalists

Restrictions:

Your card must be a Neutral Minion.

Your card's text must EITHER reference a specific class by name OR reference a specific, collectible class card by name. We want to keep this light on salt, so please note that these references may not be negative. We don't want every other entry to say "Battlecry: Destroy a Mysterious Challenger." or "Destroy a Paladin minion that costs (6).".

Existing Examples:

The only existing example is Grand Crusader.

We have whittled down ~170 valid entries to just 20 of the community's favorites.

I love most of these cards, although some are most likely imbalanced. This was a really interesting week, with a quite restrictive and outside-of-the-box theme, so it's quite hard to compare these cards to existing cards sometimes. Also, yaaay, my card is here :3 That spirit healer art is one of my favourite pieces of wow artwork, too.

The Underog is by far my favorite, 100% spot-on the flavor and not broken as most of the cards here.

Wow, my first time to get into this stage!

I really like the flavor of some card in this week submission especially Underdog and Hunted Stag, they got my vote.

There's a lot of cards that I like here, but my favorite is Armor Remnants. It's the only one here to use a Transform effect, and is the most unique, imo. Congrats to everyone!

It may not have had a high enough score with the formula they use (on the submission page!). Or perhaps Algalon was selected by a mod as a wildcard.

It's interesting but playing a 5 mana 0/8 "soft taunt" minion doesn't seem worth it since Mogu'shan Warden has better stats for 1 less mana cost and sees no play.

Side Note: One of my original ideas was "Wil Feral" 4 Mana 3/3 neutral minion who's card effect was Enrage: Transform into a Druid Beast.

But, I wasn't sure if that mechanic would work in the game. Currently, when you kill an Enrage minion, the Enrage effect activates but then the minion dies. If you dealt fatal damage to Wil Feral, would his Enrage effect transform him into a full health minion thus denying his death? Ultimately I just scrapped it.

You could have made it "Enrage: At the end of then turn, Transform into a random Druid Beast".
