Sorry about the delay, had to overcome some serious tech issues to gather all the necessary data from the competition. I don't foresee the same issue popping up next week, so that's awesome ;)
Good luck everyone!
Most of the cards are well-balanced and I can see the thought behind them, so good job to all of y'all!
Having said that though, after a look-through, there aren't any stand-out cards to me this time. :( Snow Leopard is probably the one that I'm most interested in playing and including in a deck, so that's where my vote goes to!
Good luck to everyone! :D
Really like the possibilities offered by Sacrificial Familiar in Freeze Mage.
Yay me!

No open poll? I guess it will be exciting at least haha. I'm happy with my card so I hope it can finish in a good place ^^ I'm gonna check the other cards and might review all/a few

Why Magician’s Parrot does NOT fit the theme
One of the restrictions this week was that you had to make a Mage card. That doesn’t just mean selecting the mage icon on Hearthcards.net. You also have to fit the theme of the class. There are many ways you can fail to do this. For example, say you made a Hunter Weapon, and you depicted this weapon as a sword and shield. Most people would go “WTF? That’s not a Hunter weapon”.
As such, when created a Mage Beast, you can’t leave people scratching their heads as to how this card relates to Mage. Magician’s Parrot is a prime example of this. The trope of a parrot sitting on one’s shoulder repeating what you say is well-known, yet overwhelmingly associated with pirates, especially in the fantasy genre. This is reinforced by the fact that the art for Magician’s Parrot clearly depicts a parrot sitting on the shoulder of a pirate. Any art you would find of a parrot on one’s shoulder is going to be of a pirate. So, how can one then justify this being a Mage card? Mages or wizards have no association with parrots, and the pirate theme associated with neutral and Rogue cards in this game clearly demonstrates to which class this card should belong.
One could argue that simply putting “Magician’s” in front of the name is enough of an association. But this is a very weak argument. Would you seriously consider Misha as an entry if it was renamed “Magician’s Bear”? Or, for a different competition, if someone made a “Druid’s Felguard”? Or a “Paladin’s Frost Trap”? Please don’t say yes...
It is important when creating cards to get the theme right. The theme this week required a Mage card, and Magician’s Parrot is not a mage card. Please do not make a non-Mage card a winner in a contest for Mage cards.

I'll admit that I voted for it in the first round because I found it funny (mechanically useless, but funny). I won't now though. I agree with nurgling13 on this one.

I'm just gonna put it out there that Magician's Parrot is not an interesting card. It's not a well-designed card. It's not even an original idea for a card. I've seen cards that interact with emotes in various ways before, and sure, sometimes the joke is funny and it makes it a cool card. Magician's Parrot fails to even do that.
There is no incentive to ever play this card. It's a strictly worse 1-drop than Mages already have (Mana Wyrm) that offers no unique selling point that would make you want to run it. It doesn't even have Vanilla level stats. Furthermore, it has the most tenuous connection to the Mage class possible - I'd have loved to have been able to disqualify it by arguing that they're subverting the rules, because since when have Magician's been known for their fricking Parrots, but I didn't want to start that discussion over what is and isn't thematic enough. It could also look bad given that, if it had been disqualified, my card would have likely made the finals.
It is everything I didn't want from this competition - a blatant joke card that fails to both connect itself well to the Mage class and fails to even be a good joke. Sure, as a neutral card and with a name change to something like 'Pirate's Parrot' (bonus points for alliteration) I'd have found it amusing and would have liked to see it do well in a competition. But here it just doesn't fit.
You can find me here! Good luck everyone!
I'm no stranger to controversial cards but Magician's Parrot disregards the contest parameters in my opinion, but I understand from the above points why they were hesitant to DQ it. It's not even properly worded with "Imitate your hero's emotes." which triggers my OCD. So, I will not be voting for it.
If my card doesn't win, I hope Wild Polymorph or The Prestige wins. Originally I liked Sporebat aswell, but apparently Sporebats are related to hunters and not mages. So basically my, WP and TP are the only cards that belong in Mage ( Snow Leopard, MAYBE). People seem to have missed that when they bash on the Parrot :P Also worth mentioning is that a Familiar is a kind of spirit and not just any animal. So even with the right art they wouldn't be beasts (compare to Spirit Wolf).

Polymorph: Devilsaur I like so I would be fine with it winning aswell, but there's no such spell in WoW so it's quite the stretch. WP seems like less of a stretch.
TL;DR: All cards except three doesn't really fit the requirements so stop complaining about Magician's Parrot :P
PS: I mean nothing bad towards the other contestants, I think themes like this are doomed to be failures requirement wise.
