The card is designed to work very well with your class and to counter other decks running secrets. The Black Raven can put you on a loop of secrets, beeing really powerful, thats is why it is epic and have such a weak body for a 3-mana card. I don't know a lot about Medivh's lore, but I know he can turn into black ravens and that he is related to some sort of secrets, I tryed to make the card quite thematic :D
So clearly Inspire: Draw a card is clearly super powerful, and spell damage is icing. However, as a 3-mana 1/1, the card is really bad at combat, which seems in-flavor. Familiars generally amplify magic, but don't necessarily assist in combat. After board control is established, the card can be insanely powerful, but it also has a potentially high downside.
First thought of healing using the damage that done by spell, it seem overpower, so using the cost seem more appropriate, it will be a tough time to kill Freeze Mage when this around.
Because everyone goes for the guy riding the giant turtle...
The latest tavern brawl inspired me to make this card, definitely has potential to help build a strong board and it offers great synergy with class cards like animated armor, archmage and dalaran aspirants.
To clarify... It drops the enemy minion's health to 0, and THEN switches it's attack and health... So it doesn't remove, say, the effect of Emperor Thaurrisan from the board, but it can keep, say, Whirling Zap-o-matic from attacking until Flametongue Totem. Also, Ironically, always kills minions with 0 attack.
Flavor text:"Black cats bring bad luck. so does a white cat bring good luck?"

Need to practice your polymorph spells? Why not use a reusable Lab Rat?

Hello again;
Here is my submission for this weeks card creation competition.
Notes:
1. Could cause some mages to run low cost beasts in there deck, making a new archetype.3.
2. Has synergy with Flamewaker, Sorcerer's Apprentice and Archmage Antonidas.
VOTE FOR MY CARD in the Card Creation Competition of the week.

Did you know that baby Jormungars eat ice for breakfast? Well, they don't, but it's easy to think they do.

The squirrel is actually the smartest animal in Azeroth. But it's tiny brain cannot handle it's infinite power.
Balanced against Flamewaker, arcane missiles and buccaneer.

Do not fool with the Arcane Shepherd. Arcane Explosion.
Simple design, thought to balance out with universal reference Piloted Shredder
...and to go full nuts with Bloodmage Thalnos and friends.
