should be considered token legendaries and have a yellow gem on them. Why? Because they are technically token legendaries. Legendaries are one-off characters in game, and there is only one Misha, not two and the same applies to Huffer and Leokk.
Misha is obviously a legendary as its a named character. There is only one.
Maybe it is because i am not a native speaker, but i really don't get it. The reason why Misha should be a legendary is that he has a name or something like that?

From a flavour point of view, yes. Legendary cards generally refer to specific characters, whilst lower rarity cards are generally more generic.
Okay. Thanks for the clarification. I never really paid attention to that, since i am not so much familiar with the wow characters anyway, but if i think about it now, it makes sense.
I think he is referring to it more from a logical stand point. People really should stop with the "salt" spam, its getting old and doesnt add anything. Especially when used out of context.
He is right too. Misha, as in the actual pet of Rexxar, is obviously a legendary as its a named character. There is only one. Same goes for the others. That you can have several of the same in one game does not change this as its possible with faceless, paletress etc anyway. Animal companion should therefore summon legendary minions.
Same goes for GoreHowl that's Grom weapon not a generic axe that anyone can have (contrary to what they did on WOW) and DoomHammer which is Thrall weapon. It's not a big issue HS has a million thing that need to be changed before that. Also Rexxar had another companion that died, a wolf named Haratha (horrible name BTW) someday it may be a legendary minion for hunter.
But since those 3 pets have nothing legendary (ability) about them...
To be fair Edwin VanCleef only gets stat boost. Bloodmage Thalnos is a 1/1 minion with spell damage and card draw something like Azure Drake ( diference in battlecry and deathrattle).

You can play 2 AC and get 2 Leokks (plus 1-2 Faceless Manip.). The same goes for every other card. So what exactly is your point ?
I see your point, but I think it would be even more weird to have a common that always summons a legendary :P

^ Well if in WoW , just about anyone can have it ,I think it is fair in hearthstone too.
Gore howl is also an epic, these things just are. I understand the logic but don't agree with the change.
I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
In the game HEARTHSTONE just go on HEROES like you can go on backs of CARDS and right-click on REXXAR....it read as follows:
HE ONLY FEELS AT HOME IN THE WILDERNESS WITH HIS BEASTS. SUPER SECRET: MISHA IS HIS FAVORITE. Check it out and you will see......
A token generally has the same rarity as the card that created it.
This is a rule that trumps the design guideline about unique entities in the lore.
