as the title says, with the League of Explorers right around the corner, I'm considering crafting Lorewalker Cho to have some fun with adventure bosses. however, there are several other legendaries, as well as epics I'm considering crafting.
For epics, I'm debating between 2x Dreadsteed and 2x Mountain Giant to make either Dreadlock or Handlock. Obviously Handlock has the track record and the staying power, but I'm not sure how its doing in the meta currently, and I'm not necessarily basing my decisions only on what's most competitive. And I believe some Demon Handlocks don't even run Mountain Giants. There are also a few other epics that I have one of that I wouldn't mind crafting a 2nd of, but I'm generally content to run just a single copy.
Among legendaries, the ones that I'm primarily considering are Edwin VanCleef, Varian Wrynn, and Sneed's Old Shredder, though I might be considering that last a bit less as the legendaries in LoE look to be a not insignificant nerf to Sneed's (and Confessor Paletress, which I already own). With LoE in mind, I might also entertain the idea of Neptulon for some mrglgrgl fun (though I'd need to craft a 2nd copy of Murloc Warleader as well) and maybe Leeroy Jenkins for some shenanigans with Djinni of Zephyrs and things like Windfury + Rockbiter Weapon, or Power Overwhelming, etc. So the top contenders are probably Varian or Edwin, but the others aren't out of contention.
So with all that out of the way, my primary question is this: is crafting Lorewalker Cho crazy when there are other cards I'd normally give priority? I'm especially interested to hear from people that have him and have used him in adventures in the past: is it fun/worth? and if you want to give opinions/rankings on the cards I'm considering crafting, feel free to do that too
ETA: just as further information, if the list of legendaries I'm considering didn't already imply it, there aren't a whole lot of obviously more useful legendaries I'm lacking and interested in. I'm missing 29 in total, and Cho would probably be in the top 10 for me to craft anyway, though toward the bottom of that 10 without the immediacy of LoE
