Terrible card. Why would you wanna pay 6 more mana for an opponents minion that you might not even draw? That's not even mentioning the huge tempo loss for having to pay so much for this.
Let's say you copy Boom and get it in your deck. by the time you draw it and play it you've paid, 13 mana for it and lost tempo. Terrible terrible card.
This is one of the cards I'm most excited about in the adventure.
Imagine this: Dragon Priest, facing Control Warrior (one of the worst match-ups). Warrior plays Sylvanas, forcing you to remove it and sacrifice much of your board or threatens to Brawl next turn. You entomb Sylvanas, boom, it's gone - and you get a new late game threat! This is a huge card for that match-up!
At 6 mana, it's unsure whether this can replace the second SW:Death, but it's definitely a card that I will try out!

You forgot the part where you remove the minion from the board. Maybe that didn't occur to you yet. It's a niche card very useful to remove Sylvanas, for example, so it doesn't screw you over.
For me its not about the card being playable or not, its about the card being 100% ripped off from another classes card but better and at a lower rarity. If this were rare or epic I wouldn't be as annoyed. I'd still be annoyed by it, don't get me wrong, but its just so weird they chose to make it this way.

You forgot the part where card rarity doesnt affect quality.
Also, druids have a strictly better holy smite. Let priests have their revenge ;)
Rarity may not affect quality, which isn't entirely true, but hey, however no similar effect has ever been giving to a class at a lower rarity until now, and the effect is generally better. This does have a great deal of impact in Arena, and I really don't think priest needed this card at common.

If that's the way it works then I'll have to consider my opinion on the card.
As far as I understand the card text, it DOES remove the minion as well.
Compare to the Deathrattle effect of Malorne - if you play Feign Death while you have Malorne in play, the card is removed from the board and shuffled into your deck.
I haven't said anything in months but I logged in to tell you all that considering how refined control priest is, this won't do much. Sure you get to steal their card but the randomness of draw makes this too slow for 80% of match ups. Especially with huntard back.
I'm more surprised they made this card tbh. Seems very un blizzard like to steal a card

Thanks. If that is the case then yeah I like this card alot more. I can see it replacing a Shadow Word: Death easily. It would be nice to steal a Tirion :p

Not only steal the card, but also don't trigger its effect. If you SW:D a Sylvanas or a Tirion, you'll get their Deathrattles to activate, what really make them good. But with this card you avoid that and keeps that card for a possible late game.
Think I still prefer Mind Control over this. Even If there was some kind of universe where I can keep Chromaggus on the board I would still probably play Mind Control or Lightbomb over this.
It however might make Nefarian vs a priest more fun. lol
How did this become a card? A strict upgrade to Recycle, at common, for Priest? WHY?!?!?!?! This card is stupid. Fuck Blizzard is dumb.
And some day, the kids will get that the fact that cards from different class can't be just compared like that. Some day...
You know, I know they aren't in the same class. But you know what. Priest didn't need another removal spells honestly, least of all one that works past the 4 attack metric while also being a better version of another classes card. When I look at this card I don't see it and think, good idea blizzard, great work. I think, why did you ever make Recycle? Why does priest need another removal spell? Why is this at common? I think all of those things instantly. The card is great for priest players, but I don't think its good in terms of blizzards dev teams for HS.

Not sure if hyped yet.
Fatigue priest is coming...I hope you are all ready for the ensuing nonsense that is a fatigue priest v. fatigue warrior matchup.
These aren't cases where a Higher rarity card was lowered, only where the rarity was increased.
