If the discover mechanic was only your class card, i could see alot of the new cards getting spots on the meta, like this card and that 1 mana druid card
This is the only Warlock card which isn't absolute garbage in this set. I am not convinced that this one is good enough for any deck which is used at the moment but it is okay.

The strength of the discover mechanic is that you can adapt to different situations/match-ups. But with this card it's way too limited and weak to be relevant. Ya, it helps you play on curve, kind of, but that's negated by the fact you're playing a 2 mana 2/2. This card is about on par or maybe slightly better than Razorfen Hunter.
I think of this card as being more of a 3 drop instead of a 2 drop. Playing a 2/2 on turn 2 is pretty weak but if you play this with another minion or spell it could be really good.
Hey all - I was a believer of this card from the beginning and so almost immediately I started playing with it in my Zoolock deck. It wasn't long before I noticed a trend... class cards seemed to be appearing more frequently than they mathematically should, assuming (like we all did originally) that class cards and neutral cards had an equal chance of popping up on Discover.
Curious, I ran a sample of 20 "Discovers" using this card. The expected result would be that of the 60 card selections, 7/37 of the resulting card selections should have been class cards (or just under 20%). In other words, of the 60 cards that 20 Discovers revealed, the expectation was approximately 10-12 class cards. Instead, I hit 27/60 as class cards, nearly half. If I had more time I'd do a larger sample size, and maybe this is already a known mechanic of Discover, but I hadn't seen it talked about in relation to the expected result of this card.
Needless to say, if class cards being favored is true, it makes the expected result and power level of this card and all Discover cards much higher. Specific to Dark Peddler, it's simply a fantastic Zoo card (that will take a minor hit once Reliquary Seeker comes out to dilute the awesome Warlock 1 drop pool a bit) that I highly recommend testing if you're as much of a fan of the deck as I am.
EDIT: This math is incorrect, see below. The trend still seems real though.
I make it 36 possible non-token one drops you can get, according to Hearthpwn; 7 of which are lock-specific. Odds of seeing no lock-specific, assuming that you can't get a choice between two of the same: (29/36*28/35*27/34) = 51.1% chance, so you're actually at just under a 50% chance to see at least one class specific card. As for overall numbers, I'd like to see a bigger sample size, as I realized that you've looked at total class cards, not discovers with at least one (latter of which is probably more useful in power levels).
Assume the 14 cards listed above are all ones you'd like: (22/36*21/35*20/34) = 21.5% chance to not see one of those. That looks good, and is better if there is a skew.
Hmm... oh I see what I did, I properly did not count Reliquary Seeker but I accidentally included Sir Finley. Yes, supposed to be out of 36. The metric of "discovers with at least one warlock card" was also something I tracked, I hit at least 1 warlock card on 16/20 discovers. I'll do more measures on that later tonight, as that is probably the more relevant statistic.
EDIT: More to the point, right, all of my math was off because of the "3 at a time" nature of Discover rather than 1 at a time. So basically ignore that first post of mine beyond simply noticing some kind of trend toward class cards; the math is wrong.
I think of this card as being more of a 3 drop instead of a 2 drop. Playing a 2/2 on turn 2 is pretty weak but if you play this with another minion or spell it could be really good.
I've been using it in Zoo and I have to say it's a GREAT 2 drop. It's not a huge body, but big enough to take out all the 3/2's. And more often than not, I'm getting an extra Mortal coil, Power Overwhelming, Voidwalker, or even a Soulfire in case of emergency!
Honestly, just getting a third power overwhelming is a HUGE deal. Great for early game, but even better for late game. It's a second chance to top deck a win. I'm a huge fan of this card. So far I've only had one instance where all three cards were crap.

Beginning with a more mathematically correct assumption, I just wanted to expand upon the trend I was noticing in my earlier post with some numbers that aren't off the mark. Specifically, after conducting a sample size of 50 Dark Peddler Discovers, this is what I found:
In 7/50 Discovers, there were no Warlock cards to choose from. In 20/50 Discovers, there was 1 Warlock card to choose from. In 20/50 Discovers, there were 2 Warlock cards to choose from. In 3/50 Discovers, all 3 cards to choose from were Warlock cards.
Admittedly, the sample size is not as high as I'd like nor can I draw any concrete conclusions about exact probabilities, but I hope this is enough to draw attention to the issue. Class cards seemed to be favored to a significant degree. Significant enough to take an expected result of 51% of Discovers containing no Warlock cards and end up, over 50 tries, less than 20%. Anything more than that I leave to everybody else to test and conclude.

Since the discover will always shows you at least one Warlock class card... the Peddler offers some great opportunities. And for the times you would get a Corruption... you can often check out the 1-mana minions also ha ha. And damn... even a 1-drop is often good. Play Peddler on 3-mana... you get the whole turn...
Peddler can either be a turn 2 or a turn 3... he'll fill out the curve way too good.
I love the card. In DemonHandlock as well as in Zoo.

This card is very good! I can see this card easily in zoo and demon decks. For this card be perfect, was only needed to be a rogue card...

I believe this is 2 expansions in a row Warlock has not received a new playable card.

I like this card, I am a big fan of poweroverwhelming and I will take that almost everytime...
Getting another voidwalker ain't bad either.
so, for 3 mana you get 3/5 of total stats on the board. Okay, sounds like a good turn 3 to me...
If you take a flame imp, you get 5/4 worth of stats on the board. Okay, sounds like a good turn 3 to me...
And... if my opponent is low in life, Soul Fire might just help seal the deal...
I wouldn't say this card is unplayable just yet...
Nightblade Argent Lance Flame Imp
Argent Watchman Argent Squire Frost Giant
Aviana Hogger Snipe Sea Giant
