best card shaman gotten so far. It fixes 1 form of shaman. Removes 1 element of Shaman.... Its still bad though cause your deck contains 29 other shaman cards.
I don't say it's good on paladin (paladin's hero power is pretty good) but.. turn 4 murloc knight
turn 5 this + double hero power and you get the mrglglgl going.
I agree. I don't know if it's worth removing paladin hero power, but if you get this combo up it could lead to a good board advantage on turn 5.
You could also run Old Murk Eye, and go: T4 Murloc Knight T5 Hero Power > Finley > Hero Power (T6~9 somewhere; Murloc Knight + Hero Power) (T6~9 somewhere; Old Murk Eye) T10 Anyfin can happen
Would summon 2x Murloc Knights, 1x Sir Finley Mrrgglton, 1x Old Murk Eye, and 3x Random Murlocs There's a 20% chance that at least one of those 3 random murlocs was an Old Murk Eye. Letting you charge for 16 damage. If you miss that 20%, there's still a ~30% chance that you get at least a Bluegill or Warleader. Letting you charge for 10 damage. There's also the chance of getting 2 Murk Eyes; 1 Murk Eye 2 Warleaders or w/e combination. But those are much less likely so I'll just leave it at the 2 figures above.
20% @ 16+ Damage, plus a full board. 30% @ 10+ Damage, plus a full board. 50% @ 8 Damage, plus a full board.
For paladin that lacks burst, it could be an interesting thing to play.
But it does require that you add the Finley,Murk Eye and Everyfin into your deck. (As many lists have Murloc Knight commonly in them already)
Why does everyone rip on shaman hero power. I don't get it. sure it is rng but you can control the rng and all the outcomesCAN be really powerful.
The problem with the Shaman Heropower is that Totems aren't useful until the lategame and in the early game they mostly die for free to 2/1s. You would much rather have the Paladin Hero Power early on since the 1/1s can actually do things.
Perfect for my RandoMage deck along with Portals, Spellslingers, Mad/der Bombers, and a ton of Arcane Missiles. XD I'm planning to craft Ragnaros because of this deck alone. Hahaha.
Wish they would add a "Laugh" emote for those trolling moments.
Now I can play my Mage "Paladin lust deck", with this guy on turn 1, the Silver Hand Regent on turn 3, and some awesome paladin synergy turn 6 with Grand Crusader!
This card is weird. How do you build a deck around an unknown hero power?
Druid has no decks that are built around the hero power, none. There is no synergy. And when it comes to hunter, only face hunter has synergy with the hero power.... No other hunter deck has synergy with it.
Nobody builds a deck around an unknown hero power, where did you get that idea? And building a deck around a single legendary is also dubious because its just one of 30 cards.
This does not change the fact that this legendary is absolutely awesome in a few decks, for sure in combo/token druid, ramp druid, midrange hunter, and also some others. For many decks, just the 3 out of 8 chance to pick up lifetap for one extra card each turn will be huge.
Every constructed hunter deck with a charge minion and direct damage has synergy with the hero power. And he's right that no one builds a deck around an unknown hero power. Life tap isn't even strong in this meta, it makes you take damage and gives no tempo. Or have you been running into a ton of warlock lately?
If you go fishing for one specific hero power, you have a 38% chance of finding it.
If you go fishing for one of two hero powers, your probability moves up to 66%.
If you have 3 decent outcomes then you are 87% likely to be successful.
You only have a 2% chance of being offered the worst 3 hero powers (for your deck/situation).
You only have a 7% chance of being offered 3 of the worst 4 powers.
Thus, for example, if you play Shaman Murloc or Paladin Murloc and are hoping to get either Life Tap or Steady Shot to supplement a beatdown strategy, you have a 2 in 3 chance of success.

Hunter that contains any charge minions, and direct damage that cannot be used (or only partially) against minions, is called face hunter.
No i have not seen many warlock decks built with class cards of a different class recently. The warlocks i see tend to play a lot of neutral cards and some of the few playable warlock class cards. There are very few strong warlock class cards compared to other classes. Lifetap is weakened/balanced by the fact that the majority of warlock class cards are total garbage. If you do not understand that the warlock hero power is the single most powerful hero power in the game, and how this connects to the fact that warlock decks are forced to play such high numbers of neutral cards, then you have not been paying attention.
This was true in vanilla, the warlock class cards are very strong now, but a terrible player wouldn't notice
Murloc Shaman, take the warlock or hunter hero power - EVERYFIN IS AWESOMMMMMM!!!

I am going to try this on druid. I will gladly trade the worst hero power in the game for anything (except rogue's hp)

Absolutely terrifying on those Fel Reave warrior decks.
Only viable in constructed shaman.
My legendary count excluding adventure legendaries, dupes and old murk eye: 40
$$$ spent on this game: 0

This card will be called Doctor 1 ;)
can you imagine someone randomly play it in hand lock, turn 2, tap, turn 3 tap, drop this guy, switch to new hero power?
Zoo for everyone!
I will try in my midrange Shamman just to fulfill my dream of a non random hero power.
Now this looks like a cool card.
Say "Wow" for RNG!
A little bit of probability analysis may help :
Thus, for example, if you play Shaman Murloc or Paladin Murloc and are hoping to get either Life Tap or Steady Shot to supplement a beatdown strategy, you have a 2 in 3 chance of success.
Poisoned blade? lol
