Super good, honestly. I often don't need the freeze effect of Frostbolt or have one extra mana, and long-term 4 Fireballs in your deck instead of 2 can make a huge difference.
This card has a great design. Kill something early with a guarantee to have a card to kill something big later. I could see a control/midrange mage replacing 2 Frostbolts + 2 Fireballs with 2 Torches + 2 Polymorphs for maximum removal options.
Fairly priced. 3 mana is overcosted by 1 for 3 damage, 3 mana is undercosted by 1 for 6 damage (in Mage). Shuffled in your deck means you may not capitalize though.
Best card so far. For sure good in freeze mage and for any burn deck its a staple. Its the type of card that spawns new archetypes or revives old ones.
I'm really happy to run a freeze mage deck. This card makes it much more powerfull. You don't need to waste a frostbolt on strong early game minions anymore and you get a decent amount of additional burn in your deck. 18 more damage in total, which is insane.
Seems pretty good at first glance but I don't think it's good enough to see a constructed play. You're essentially giving up tempo for future value and tempo. Tempo Mage's damage spell slot is already full. Freeze Mage, well, you don't want to increase your deck size because that decreses your chance of drawing Alex or Antonidas. Maybe in some slow control Mage deck?

A 3-mana fireball?
Yes, please.
You... You wanna buy a funnel cake?
I honestly think this is a pretty cool card for Freeze Mage. Overall it is a 6 mana deal 9 damage in total, but over time.
I think it's fairly priced.
Oh my, Tempo Mage will become the ultimate Face-Spell-Slinger. Blizzard don't like charge mechanic, so let's just add direct damage instead.

Not playable in anything faster than freeze mage.
Inb4 Face Mage. Now have twice as many Fireballs for less mana! Seriously though, the math on this:
2x Torch = 6 damage, 12 damage when tokens are drawn.
2x Fireballs = 12 damage.
Total Mana Cost for All Four (Including Tokens): 20.
24 Damage for 20 Mana = R.I.P Pyroblast, now do 12 damage for just 10 mana!
Obviously it takes a lot of draw and some rng, just wanted to post that:P
Looks like it at least has potential to be viable, let's hope so.

Because mages hadn't have enough direct damage spells. C'mon Blizz...
Seems like it'll only be viable in freeze mage. Since freeze is slow enough and runs enough draw to have a chance at consistenly drawing the tokens.

I don't think this is just a Freeze mage card... Even casino mage might play this instead of that 3/4 give both players a random spell.
I like the design of the card as it favors more combo/control play. Let's see if the meta will "accept" this card.
