I like how every card that does damage in hunter is harped about endlessly. Anyway, I don't see this card being very good since it can be played around so easily. However, it does make it even harder for the better secrets like freeze trap to be played around.
Though it remains to be seen how good it will actually be. Potentially random damage (with minions for enemy) is not something that it is THAT easy to fit into facehunter, since it isn't a deck that generally controls the board well, this is abysmal compared to snakes or explosive vs pally for example.
It's actually a potentially interesting control card though... we'll see I guess.
Only effective vs slower decks, most decks you play against on ladder usually just curve out and/or play spells. So it slightly improves the match vs Warrior or Handlock but I don't think it's enough to slot this in your deck and weaken your other matchups (Handlock was easy to beat anyway).
I really don't feel like Hunter was hurting for more secrets, especially not one that acts as another Kill Command and can kill some big minions on its own if it doesn't hit your face. Sheesh.
Why would you run this in face hunter? Chances are too small it hits face, can easily be played around and is just bad against paladin/shaman/zoo/tempo mage. It may even kill off a minion which makes your unleash smaller and miss that 1 dmg for lethal..
why are you even bitching against face hunter when druid and secret pala decks ruin the ladder? Face hunter is bad against a lot of decks and is hardly played anymore
(Hunter starts, opponent has coin). Leper Gnome turn 1, opponent Mage passes (let's imagine he has a bad draw), Dart Trap turn 2, opponent Mage pings the Leper Gnome. That's 9 damage to face on turn 2 in a not-at-all unlikely scenario.

The mind games that this card creates... I mean, even if the hunter isn't running dart trap, now I'll always be thinking
"Oh s***, I hope that isn't dart trap"
If it was 5 damage to the enemy hero only it would be much better.
Paladins (especially with Justicar Trueheart), Shamans, and Lord Jaraxxus can disable these traps.

facehunters are pleased
Suddenly, Kezan Mystic sees a lot more playtime...
Face hunter needed more blizz? Really? Goddamit.
Well since explosive trap wasn't played that much lately in face hunter i guess this will be played instead of the explosive ...
Random Mind Blast/Fistings of Jaraxxmen.

No reasonable hunter would ever run a single copy of this card.
RIP Handlock.

Pretty bad an useless. Nobody realy uses hero power much against hunter because they fight for tempo and its even random. Wont see play.

This secret isn't even strong in the meta. Only 3 decks will hero power early on except with a bad starting hand (handlock / freeze mage / warrior).
Most of the time you run into druid / aggro / tempo mage and of course paladin, against whom this secret is trash
I used to be a control player like you, then I took a quick shot to the knee.
Too random.
