So I've been torn about what to make. I'm down to a couple options.
I prefer mid-range & control style decks. I'm just not sure the best way to progress with my crafting. I've spent a lot of time crafting the clutch epics requires (Lay On Hands, Ancient of Lore, etc) for a lot of decks but I think I'm at the point where I can move onto getting legendary cards now. Here's what I have:
Neutral: All of the adventure legendaries, Gormok the Impaler, Old Murk Eye, Captain Greenskin, Sylvanas, Chillmaw, Boom, Skycap'n Kragg, Rag, Onyxia, Ysera, Deathwing
Hunter: King Krush
Mage: Archmage Antonidas
Warrior: Grommash Hellscream
My primary debate is between Alexstrasza, Bloodmage Thalnos, Justicar, Malygos, Tirion, Mal'Ganis, or Jaraxxus. I'm not sure I want to make the class specific legendaries because they only open up that one class although warlock decks that aren't zoo need at least one of those to be truly effective.
My current decks are midrange paladin, dragon priest, and echo mage. I tend to switch my decks around a lot though so that may not be a great sample. The one thing for sure is that I don't play aggro decks basically ever.
Sorry for making another one of these threads and thanks for your thoughts and advice.
Even though these threads pop up a lot, it's ok. Everyone has a different collection, and different class/ playstyle preferences.
If you enjoy Paladin, then Tirion will probably be your best bet. Alexstrasza would open up freeze/echo mage (especially since you have Antonidas), and would help for Dragon based decks.
The alternative would be to work your way towards Demonlock or CW, but since you need 2+ legendaries to get there, you won't be able to take advantage of them right away. In general neutrals are a safer bet, but you are pretty close to completing what you need for Warlock and Warrior control decks (since you have sylvanas, boom, rag and ysera).
Disenchant Greenskin, King Krush, Skycap and another one/other things and craft both Tirion and Justicar for the midrange pally.
TRY not to nuke Greenskin if you can, though if not then go ahead. Otherwise, THIS.
I tried getting paladin anything to work without Tirion (He was a later legendary I crafted) and it does not work.. at all.
And I can't imagine my decks without Justicar. Seeing Warrior chew through all of your big threats only to concede due to the endless 1/1s is just...awe inspiring.
Your Gormok works well with zoo, so Mal is a consideration. He also works good in mid pal if you have Justicar, so Tirion and her are also craft worth legendaries.
Don't dust any of those cards, what terrible advice. If you want to play pally you won't regret crafting Tirion (recently crafted him myself). Between the warlock legs go with malganis, Jax is much easier to replace. If you craft Alex you already have the makings of a good CW (assuming you have shield slams and at least 1 brawl). As far as Bloodmage, he is a great card, a staple in Rogue and spell shaman use him too but neither is in a great spot in the meta.
I guess it really comes down to what deck you really want to play. If it's current strength mr pally is the strongest but demon zoo is on its way up and the CW list you could make would be strong too.
As far as people telling you to dust legendaries, just don't listen. It's such a shortsighted view. I Still haven't spent a dime on the game and just by doing arena runs and dailies I accrue enough dust to make a legendary and whatever epics I need for a deck every month, sometimes less. Just be patient.
Of your suggestions Alex seems like the one that will see the most use in the biggest range of decks. He is also the most unsubstitutable in certain decks (like Freeze Mage)
So thank you for the responses. Let me add some thoughts.
To those who said craft Boom, you clearly didn't read that I said I already had Boom.
Yes, I have built midrange pally without Tirion and it works. I have also done dragon paladin without Tirion (he's not a dragon) and that also works so Tirion is not completely required. He would be nice.
I don't have the Southsea Captains for Pirate Rogue.
I could dust legendaries but I've made that mistake before and I want to hang onto them. If I did dust them, it would be to make Alex and Justicar or Mal'Ganis and Jaraxxus. Also, I can't count how many games I've ended with King Krush. Pulled him in a double legendary pack with Greenskin.
I think Alex is the decision here. She fits in the most amount of decks and, as DropDeadCynical said, she is the most impossible to replace. Control Warrior existed before Justicar but not before Alex.
I removed Alex in my CW. With Justicar the heal she provides isn't as useful, and the damage she provides is negligible; I found by the time I can play her the game was mostly decided anyways, or I had other things I needed to spend my mana on.

You're playing Midrange Paladin without Tirion Fordring?!?!

The answer on these threads is always Dr Boom. Even if you have him it's Dr Boom.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

The only cancer in Hearthstone is its community.

Thank you for your thoughts everyone.
You may want to think about Sylvanas, too! Very flexible, fits into tons of decks, but not as much of an outright win condition as Alex.
