I was wondering what the most rare golden legendary is. Golden Millhouse Manastorm (and the other 2-drop legendaries) pop out of golden Piloted Shredders, Golden King Mukla, Gahz'rilla and Maexxna come with the golden Webspinners. But what about golden Gruul? Or golden Hemet Nesingwary? I have never seen those in live games. Have you? Even Nozdormu I have seen. It's such a beautiful golden animation. I can see the point of wanting to craft him. What do you think is the most 'rare' golden legendary?
I've got a feeling any golden legendary that doesn't see play has about an equal chance to be called "the most rare"? Since given that no one plays them - they have same odds of making it on the board through other cards, be that through Unstable Portal, Effigy or Confessor Paletress.
True, although I believe neutral legendaries and legendaries that spawn golden cards like golden Gazlowe and Mekgineer Thermaplugg would see slightly more play than golden Flame Leviathan. What other factors could come into play?
It will be a golden naxxramas or BRM legendary that cannot be obtained by other cards' randomness more often than other legendaries (i.e. no beast etc). This is because you never add them to your collection randomly by opening packs and therefore cannot have it in your deck, unless you crafted it. The most useless of these cards are candidates. E.g. Rivendare, Rend Blackhand, Majordomo.
Yeah, you're right. Then I think the answer is Rend Blackhand. Majordomo is famous for how terrible he is and at least you get a golden Rag hero before you die :D Baron Rivendare I see more of, and although I've never seen a golden one, I would personally craft it over golden Rend Blackhand, if I HAD to choose between those two.
Maybe the Feugen and Stalagg brothers also because you basically need 6400 to craft one of them. I don't think anyone would craft one if they're not committed to crafting the other one also.
ETC is hard to get but I dare to say more players have golden Elite Tauren Chieftain than they have golden Rend Blackhand. More players bought that virtual ticket than there are players who dropped 3200 dust on Rend. Don't you think?
Propably golden elite tauren chieftain is most rarest card in the game. U cannot craft it, you only have it if you bought packs in hearthstone beta
Reward for testing in-game shop during beta was golden Gelbin Mekkatorque. Golden Elite Tauren Chieftain was granted to those who did purchased Blizzcon 2013 virtual ticket.
Golden Maexxna is my guess. maybe some people have crafted golden Rend for Dragon decks, but there is really no deck that I want Maexxna in, never seen that card in play outside arena (non-golden obviously). 3200 dust to craft that shit? nope.
I think this is probably right. I know people have crafted golden Majordomo Executus and golden Rend Blackhand (I know Brian Kibler has the latter, and I think I saw Dog playing with the former). I can even imagine somebody crafting golden Stalagg and Feugen for an all-golden deathrattle shaman deck or something. But golden Maexxna? I would be surprised if there were a single player in the entire world who bothered to craft that. I think if I were working on an all-golden collection, that would literally be the very last card I crafted.

I have a golden Hemet Nesingwary. Friend me if you want to witness this god among cards.
