you just didn't play the card as intended or must really suck, because that card gives terrible advantage...
Today's meta? Yes. I'd use it. Considering the number of control warriors, priests, reno lock, etc. of course it's good.
The game meta when I made that post? No, it actually wasn't that good. Most of the decks you went against were mirror matches (tempo version), or face hunters, face druids, tempo mages, etc. so you were lucky to even get 2 cards from it.
I've always hated divine favor. I played a guy the other day that vomited his entire hand to the board by turn 5 and I was able to remove everything and leave him with an empty board and an empty hand. I had low life, but plenty of cards left to finish out the game, and guess what he top decks.....
All I see is someone playing an extremely slow-greedy deck against someone who is playing a more tempo-aggresive deck. You are losing and also at a natural disadvantage. Did I miss something else?

I also dont like Divine Favor, but for the reason that it punishes u when ur playing better then your opponent, when u do valuable trades and gain card advantage and then ur punished for it, that is NOT ok. But i dont expect the card to be nerfed, probably ever so i can just continue being sad about that and glad that it aint that common occurrence.
Have you played other card games before? There should be better plays than just playing minions on curve every turn. Some decks should be able to play very few minions and still be viable. Look up Magic the gathering to see the game blizzard should follow as close as possible.

Ohh I know that feeling. Nothing beats tapping until turn 4 while brainless retard releases his hand of secrets and divine favors.
Personally if all you are doing is hero powering and passing for several turns you deserve to be punished. I find it annoying that for many control decks T7+ just passing can often be the best play. Every turn should be vital not just the 2-3 before you win.
Listen I play handlock, the name itself means something, I play with a big hand. The only cards you use before turn 4 are mortal coil and darkbomb, that is if you draw them. To win against secret paladin you need to play passive and draw cards to get demons for voidcaller, moltens and hellfire to make a turnaround, else you lose.
There should be decks for all styles of gameplay. If you want a game thats all about playing the best creatures of curve then you secret paladin every where. If a person enjoys a slow control deck, then so be it, they should not lose by turn 3 or 4 because their deck is slower.

Well a noob is a new player right? So 500 ranked wins would not be a new player. And if I was facing a greedy ass control warrior and I had Divine Favor in my hand I would also play Muster on turn three and four, why? To draw more cards with Divine Favor that's why. If he had dumped his hand to rush you down to 5 and not had Divine Favor and you dropped Reno on turn six, you would have won, and I'm sure you would have called it "skill". I have a good idea for you, STFU, queue up, and move on. And you had Loatheb in your fucking hand on turn 5 and didn't play it. What were waiting for? Avenging Wrath stopper on turn 8? I think you just might be the noob. noob.

Of course they should, if they're playing a deck with no early answers against a deck with only early cards, why does it make sense for them to still have a chance despite passing 3 turns doing dickall?
You're aware the card exists so when you're playing against a paladin that consistently empties its hand, adapt and play around it... and don't have so many damn cards in your hands as you'll just be as pissed against Fatigue Rogues

So if I don't have my darkbomb or frostbolt by turn three I should lose? The game should not be decided by turn 3 that's just mental.

Blast the card to the ground, give it the buzzard/warsong nerf please.
Well, both UH and DF punish you for playing the game. DF punishes you for having cards in your hand and UH punishes you for playing minions.

Rule of thumb when playing against secret paladin... don't hold onto so many cards due to DF. You should know that.
Also, your opponent wasn't noob. He has a golden portrait.

and blizzard is obviously supporting slow decks with reno jackson. They realize minion combat is not everything this game has to offer.
