I think Cairne Bloodhoof was always better than Sylvanas Windrunner. With Cairne, you know what you get - two Yetis. With Sylvanas, your opponent could manipulate the trades to where Sylvanas gets you nothing, except for having achieved a board wipe.
Cairne is way better, nothing infuriates me more than Cairne because the resources you need to burn thru' him are ridiculous - Cairne + Sunfury Protector is so de-flating.
In my opinion, in every single scenario Cairne Bloodhoof beats Sylvanas Windrunner. The upside of having Cairne in the board is that it's usually hard for the opponent to deal with him, especially if they have used their silence/hard removal already, on top of that I believe that he is better for general board control and is a must on any control deck. Sylvanas from the other hand can become quite problematic sometimes since she will 'force' the opponent to make trades that normally he/she wouldn't do which is something that ultimately will lead to have her effect doing nothing most of the times. Lastly keep in mind that Sylvanas in priest deck and priest deck only is equal or slightly better than Cairne since you can use Shadow Word: Death on her and force to take control of a minion.

I'm trying to work out which one to Craft Next.
I mainly play Priest and Rogue.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I am leaning more towards Cairne now.

Cairne is the more solid choice right now. That being said, Sylvanas is still a very good card but the nerf did hurt her.
Wouldn't silence kill off Sylvana's power too?
