People still complain about old Secret Paladin? Just why...Patron, freeze mage, entomb priest, Mrrgl Pala just to name 4 decks that completely wreck that deck. Doesnt mean its bad or something but its far away from beeing OP.
And its ok for a single card to be OP when the deck build around is balanced i would say,
Maybe MC could put two secrets in play, instead of one of each. This way its value is decreased but the opponent still has to play around them. Or his stats could be decreased, that would help.
Just lower its stats. 6/3 like justicar, then it is balanced. That it gets to be one stat lower than the gold standard (Boulderfist ogre 6/7) with that effect is just ridiculous.
I suggest either 3 secrets at random (that way the second one could still retain some value as well, making it better and worse at the same time) or lower it's stats to be a 6/3 or a 5/5 (Ancient of Lore only draws two cards for 7 mana and is only 5/5). Other than that, I made a midrange Druid and I've only lost to 2 Secret Paladins (when they got the perfect curve, MC D.Boom and Tirion) and I've played 13. The trick is to tech against it. It's been long enough in the meta that people should understand how to play around it by now. The only problem with the popular Secret Pally in this meta is that if they get the curve it is insanely powerful, but that is unlikely and if you have a consistent deck than gg.

What do you mean by 'to tech against it'? Kezan is ridiculously weak against it, running 2 BGH is still optimistic because MC does not always become a 9/8.
At this point, I don't think MC should be "nerfed" but rather just deleted from the game altogether(or at least make it's battlecry something useless like "gain +1 attack when a secret is played").
Secret paladin is a completely retarded and unfun deck to play with and against and is heavily hurting the game right now. I face over 50% of ONE DECK out of NINE CLASSES on ladder, and many streamers have stated that's roughly their match ups broken down as well. The deck is as popular as it is because people who belong at ranks 10 or below can easily pick it up and get to legend with it within one week(you may think I am joking, but I have tried it and the deck really is that simple to play), and have no regard for the fact that they are ruining the fun for themselves and everyone else(if you actually take any sort of fun in playing the deck, I pity you).
Yes, you can counter against it(I actually have over 60% win rate against them on most of my decks) but that doesn't change the fact that it's extremely boring and frustrating to play against, and that it IS just warping the meta around it(to quote from another member of the forum).
The deck does nothing but hurt the game, and I think most people would agree that, unlike what was the case with PW, the game would only profit from seeing it die.

Two BGH would be pointless. Kezan Mystic does wonders for the earlier secrets, if I Innervate into a Kezan to take their early pressure it can be devastating. Tech for me means Harrison Jones and The Black Knight for Tirion Fordring and Muster for Battle can give insane draw from Harrison Jones and I have two Keeper of the Grove and unless two are in hand, leave one available for the turn 6 MC unless absolutely necessary. In non-druid classes that would mean two Ironbeak Owl which might seem like a waste, but they usually give some sort of value. Now, if it doesn't seem like this works then just try it. I am serious about my 13-2 win rate against Paladin (although now that I think about it, one or two of the wins might have been to an aggro or a midrange paladin, I don't remember).

so, the trick to beat MC is too make a deck designed to beat MC? then blizzard should stop nerfing things and just un-nerf the previous cards because nothing is op when you play your deck exclusively againts it.
lets be real people, even is MC was a spell i would still be good enough, the stats is not a problem, the cost is not a problem, the problem is the effect, you draw and play 5 cards for 6 mana, and the cards that you draw are the ones that you dont want to draw when you are out of gas later in the game, giving you more % of drawing what you need. is just insane, i doesnt matter that the deck can be countered, i doesnt matter that you have to build a deck around it because every card needs a deck around it to work and every card can be countered. this card is just wrong and needs to be nerfed warsong style.
Ok, so we've established that MC is an overpowered radioactive garbage, that needs to be disposed of in its current state, for the good of the game. But! Can anyone explain how is it possible for Secretdins to draw him and play him, 99.99% of the time on curve?
So most of my techs despite maybe the Kezan Mystic are just as useful in any other deck. The trick is to play a deck that can beat it easily (midrangey type of deck) and put in techs that will help. Except for face hunter The Black Knight gives me value in every matchup (thanks to all decks having a Sludge Belcher usually) and Harrison Jones is more to solidify my win against secret pally and control warrior. Silences, however you choose to put them in your deck, will always give value as long as you know how to play them, and when you should save them for a bigger card. Most of what helps me win against secret pally is knowing how to pilot against it. I still think it should be nerfed, but it is not quite as OP as you people are giving it credit for. Lowering it's body would be the only valid option in my opinion but 4/4 is too small and 6/6/ is too big, and 6/3 doesn't fit the Paladin Archetype so I believe a 5/5 body would be most beneficial to still keep secret paladins in the meta, just not the most prominent part.

By the time it's round 6, you have drawn 6 cards even without any card draw, and seen 7 cards in mulligan. 6+7=13, that's half of your deck, meaning almost 50% chance to draw one of them + 25% chance of drawing both, which means 75% chance of having one in your hand on turn 6.

MC is Good in Ranked but not as good in tournaments... So what's the problem? Deal with it!
