The card just needs to be balanced, lots of good suggestions on this thread. My personal opinion favors making the card legendary as a 7 mana card.
That would be too harsh. Why would I play 6-7 secrets that generally lose me card advantage if I only have one MC in the deck? And 7 mana ?
That would put it on the shelf with Starving Buzzard and Warsong Commander. Don't forget, these secrets are only playable at all because of the MC! Nobody will risk playing them and drawing a hand of them without having at least 2 MCs in the deck to give them value.
You know a card is OP if more then half of the time you face a deck built around that class. 6 mana for a 6/6 is good already because the neutral card Boulderfist Orge has 6/7 stats for 6 mana with no effects. Pulling it 4-5 mana worth of secrets turn 6 is absolutely ridiculous. Assuming that MC is played by itself and all the secrets get triggered, it's basically a turn 6 10/9 from avenge and competitive spirit and pulling out other helpful secrets which is without a doubt OP. The card should be nerfed either to only pull out a maximum of 3 secrets and have a 5/4 body or make it 7 mana pull out a maximum of 3 secrets with a 6/5 body. The Christmas Trees should end soon, hopefully...

That was topdecked? Nah, it was because I let the Heart of the Cards guide me ;)
Noone mentions the games when you pull 2-3 secrets and end up not being able to do anything worthwhile until turn 4-5.
Or when the Challenger comes after turn 10 and gets 2-3 secrets which is good, but much easier to play around than 4-5 since many times you know which ones have been used.
It seems to me, at the moment, there are plenty of decks that are at least even with secret paladin:
These are decks I feel have at least a 50/50 shot against secret paladin just based on my play experience of going from rank20 to rank5 for the last 3 months as secret paladin (midrange version not aggro)...
face shaman (doesn't care about much of what you do and secret paladin usually runs few heals if any)
face hunter (pretty much a coin toss, at least 50/50 with secret paladin, bascially a race or depends on who gets the right draws)
demon zoo / zoo (usually has a big enough board to trigger the secrets and all kinds of options/can do multiple things per turn quite often )
freeze mage (the counter to secret paladin - highly favored for obvious reasons)
tempo mage (not as much of a sure win as freeze mage has, but favored against all paladin builds. much of the time paladin can't deal with the flamewaker and it gets massive value/keeps the board clear)
priest control/dragon (I am not sure how good the match is vs paladin in general, but man, priest has plenty of ways to counter the challenger. Lightbomb, Entomb and Shadow Word : Death)
paladin non-secret: (plenty of answers, Equality + consecrate, aldor, uldman)
druid : I'm not sure, I don't play druid enough. I hear aggro druid does well or is at least 50/50 with secret pally
rogue : not sure either
warrior : I ususally don't have a hard time with warrior, I think Patron is a pretty good counter to any paladin build tho...
Undertaker was the single most powerful card since open beta. Secret keeper forces you to play weak cards which would never seen play without mysterious challenger
Shielded minibot is indeed powerful, but doesn't counter any 3 health 2-mana card. Knife juggler is good, but nothing spectacular.
Aldor is very good against control, but nothing spectacular
Keeper is more often than not a bad 6th drop
You need to be smart with the usage of loatheb or he will be a waste. (most secret paladins are stupid so shouldnt be a problem) yeah doctor 6.
Doctor 7 ok
Doctor 8. Very good card ofcourse, but weak to silence
I have played a lot of secret paladin, but never gotten legen with it. Which is something I have with most good decks including my own Reno mage

MC is definitely overpowered but Keeper of Uldaman is also nearly as bad.
It's very tough to get ahead vs secret paladin matches when you come out ahead with 1 strong minion and then keeper comes out turning it into a 3/3 and it gets chopped away by Truesilver champion.
hm. how its op !? u know what secret's he have u can manage too destroy him.. as a mage u can manage too play a mirror image on turn . or save a fireball for him. take the board control !? i was complaining about this card before but now il destroy him.
Yeah undertaker was also beatable. Everyone had 2 drops to kill it but still if you didn't have precisely a specific card, you lost already from the beginning. Same goes for mc, except that you can't avoid the christmas tree since it will definitely come out. Guess either avenge or noble sacrifice have to be changed since both at the same time make this card way too op and by just putting it to a 4/4, it won't do a big change. You kinda have to put him to a 1/1 lol

Of course, MC can be dealt with. But the problem is it takes way too much to deal with it. On a good day, he has no minions and he plays MC on T6 and you have your handy Fireball + ping. Great. he's dead. he has no board. but he has already setup synergistic value in his secrets and he'd flood the board again.
I understand that the card is beatable. The problem I see is that the deck not only has MC, but Boom, Tirion, and the best early game lategame push and mid all the while bringing back their minions with one mana which buffs one of their other cards. Then they can just draw for 3 or 4 for 3 mana (which makes Arcane Intellect compartively obsolete). All of these aspects lead to the deck almost always having an insane board that is constantly being refilled or buffed, as well as one that is extremely easy to curve out well with. Honestly the deck is still extremely good even if they don't get MC. Honestly the main the problem I see with the deck is the way that they can have some of, and some cases the, best cards and combinations of cards at every single stage of the game. In turn, for many decks, they have to have to get the perfect cards to even compete, which is hard for some decks to do if they have more situational cards or less card draw. I know that people will say oh just do better or stop complaining, but it doesn't change the fact that the deck is op.
Nightblade Argent Lance Flame Imp
Argent Watchman Argent Squire Frost Giant
Aviana Hogger Snipe Sea Giant
Literally just got whooped by a secret Paladin because the guy used two Challengers in a row. Seeing how OP it was, I'm currently making the deck lol

Dr.1 - Secretkeeper (Much better than the old Undertaker in most situations)
Drs. 2 - Shielded Minibot , Knife Juggler
Dr. 3 - Aldor Peacekeeper
Drs. 4 - Piloted Shredder, Keeper of Uldaman
Dr. 5 - Loatheb
Dr. 6 - Mysterious Challenger
Dr.7 - Dr. Boom
Dr. 8 - Tirion Fordring
Fun and interactive D:
If it is to talk bullshit is better to be silent, which part of the MC and Secret Paladin you do not understand playing with him for many months?
Do not try to argue that the impossible.MC is a card that is bad for the game and Secret Paladin have the strongest curve of the game by far.
Wow, this is wrong on so many levels...

You are both wrong is my guess.
Freeze mage is great if played correctly 70%
Oil Rouge and miracle Rouge 60% (fan of knifes wins a lot of games)
Druid needs a good swipe, so 50%
Patron is good, but hard to play 60/70%
Control warrior is bad
Face hunter is GG 70%/80%
Aggro shaman 50/50 or slightly favoured secret paladin
cant wait fix, MC is so fcking broken
Why is this card still not nerfed? BUMP
MC is definitely overpowered but Keeper of Uldaman is also nearly as bad.

I'm pretty fond of "Mysterious Cheater" myself.

I really don't see MC as being OP, at all. There's far worse cards in the game.
