This should discard a card and cost 6 mana or 5.. point is it's a waste of space while WL is starving for more discard cards for new mechanics.

"If this card is discarded, summon it." would prolly make this card more interesting in certain decks.

It would have to be a smaller body, that would be terrifying in Zoo.

It is too expensive and too slow for a Zoo. Midrange Demon Zoo? Meh. The (current) archetype of Zoo we have is supposed to be fast with spamming a scary board, trading effeciently and getting out your threads (doomguard, Mal'Ganis). This dude doesn't really serve the purpose.

Gahz'rilla is 6/9 for the same cost, is a beast synergy card, and gets double attack each time it takes damage.

This is uninspired underpowered crap that's going to be replaced by strictly better rare or epic demon somewhere in the forseeable future.

Basically a bane of doom buff.

And great for arena.

I don't understand why everyone wants Fearsome Doomguard to have text. Everyone knows Demon texts are usually crap. I'm starting to think that if they made him discard 3 cards, destroy 2 mana crystals, and deal 10 damage to your hero when summoned, but reduced his cost by 1, everyone would be happy. kappa

Removing the text of a demon doesn't make it good though.  It just means he's gone from worthless to 'meh' like any other textless minion.

Also we have minions with good texts.  Voidwalker, Imp Gang boss, Voidcaller, void terror, and the legendaries all have very good texts.  Dread Infernal and Doomguard has pretty decent text as well (note that the Charge of Doomguard is part of his text and is worthwhile even with the discard).  

High stats with bad text does not a good card make.  Moderate stats with no text doesn't work either, Demon or no demon.

I still want to see if a Demon Handlock-like deck couldn't use him because he is an additional threat with Void Caller but I still have to wait a few hours before I can test it :(

Hoej used this guy in a demon handlock in a tournament...maybe it will actually catch on.
