wow I'm surprised this card gets little response...this is the best anti-aggro 2 drop in the game ...period...it's better version of chow with no drawnback
Why are so many people treating this card as a guaranteed 2/4 with taunt? Also, you are forced to roll Dragon Priest....with neutral costed minions that are balanced for all classes to use. To bad Priests didn't get the Consort. That would have helped things a lot.
4/8 taunt with +1 SP on turn 3 if the dragon buff activates and you play Velen's Chosen. Pretty good.
You can even call it a 5 mana 4/8 taunt with spellpower if you have to play the cards on the same turn to make the combo work and it still sounds good. You usually get a 5/4 or a 3/6 as a 5 mana taunt. 4/8 with spellpower is way better and you can get it earlier than turn 5.
Guys I do not know if you are joking, but this card is actually bad as hell :D I know all Priest fans just turned to be crazy, cuz you guys dont get alot of great cards this xpac :D Like in best case it is like 2/4 with Taunt. The meta will now be probably just turned abit slower, so why would you guys want to play potential 2/4 with Taunt ? If I am missing something really important, please comment :P
Every expansion it is explained that the meta turns slower, yet we have with facehunter now maybe the fastest meta at all. Aggro will still be a thing and it will be always a thing and this card can be insane against it.
How does it work if you drop Wyrmrest Agent after Hobgoblin and you have a dragon? Does it count as a 1/4 and get the +2/+2 Hobgoblin buff or does it count as a 2/4 and not get it? I'm assuming it does, and you get a 2/3 and a 4/6 taunt for 5 mana...
new meta is yet to be seen, the card has such a great value but, honestly who is gonna play a dragon priest in a meta with control warrior, dragon/taunt warrior, control druid, control paladin...
naaaaah, I don't think a dragon priest is gonna survive (or simply be efficient/worth) for the (new) ladder
If Dragon Priest exists, it will most likely be some kind of tempo deck. That being the case, it will play out differently from how Priest is currently played.
Although, it seems entirely possible as well to run the current version of Priest, but replacing selective cards with this, Twilight Drake and select late game Dragons of choice (Chillwind, Ysera, Nefarian). Control Priests do benefit from having a good Taunt, and also from Blackwing Corrupter (because 3 damage is hard for Priests).
Although I think Recombobulator Priest is more suited to a slow meta, especially if cards like Ysera are going to be run frequently.
So in a dream scenario, Dragon Priest could actually have an opening like Twilight Whelp -> Wyrmrest Agent -> Blackwing Technician -> Twilight Guardian. How's this not the most OP opening in the entire game, outside of innervate shenanigans? I sense many insta concede clicks from Facetards.
a 2/4 taunt for 2 is simply ultra good, statistically, that is not up for debate really.
Hello.
Top10 TGT card!
12 wins in ArenA with: Mage and Paladin, first time legend with Rogue
Yea, 20 times better reason to run dragon priest than twilight whelp.

Nice card to me who draws Ysera at the beginning of each goddamn match!
Not all who wander are lost.
He's a solid target for velen's whether or not you get the dragon bonus. A 1/4 is very likely to survive to turn 3.
I don't like ridiculous beards.
Why, Blizzard, why?
Blackwing Technician? It's not like priests need more 3-drops. Also, the new taunt dragon can be played relatively early.
Time to put two owls in every deck, sorry joust.
2-mana 2/4 is already very good, but you also give it taunt?! That's like telling me to play priest-dragons. ;D

This is EXACTLY the card Dragon Priest needed to stay alive. I'm so glad. :)
