Decent in a control deck. If you can copy and kill your opponent's heavy legendary, you will be ahead in hand value. The problem is that you can just put a heavy legendary in your deck to have the same effect. You lose some versatility but is more consistent. Unless you want to copy a class legendary like Tirion Fordring. Meh. It's decent. Maybe some Control Priest will run it.
So, basically you pay an extra 2 mana to play any minion that they have on the board? Extra choice on "what minion do I need" could be good. Say choosing a Sludge Belcher or a Healbot... or choosing Dr. Boom or Thaurissan.
I think it has advantages. For instance, you could steal an Antique Healbot if you're in a bit of trouble, or you could steal Tirion Fordring to stall for time etc?
Or you could steal your opponents Ragnaros the Firelord, play it, and hope it kills theirs? :P
I'm surprised at the tepid enthusiasm for this one. This seems like the type of card that all the Priest Timmys go crazy for. It's a VERY good tool for control matchups, allowing you to run an extra Sylvanas or something. There's not really many cards in aggro that you would want to spend 2 mana drawing a copy of.
SWEEEEET! I had a deck entirely themed around stealing and copying opponents minions and spells and I called it convert priest and now they straight up release another spell that would fit in that deck and it itself is actually called convert! WOLOLO!
Deathwing problems? No problem, just take 12 damage to the face than play Deathwing a turn later... This really does work so well with lots of legendaries and is a good answer to other class drops. If you manage to delay your opponent's Dr. Boom to turn 8, you can turn 9 Convert --> Dr. Boom! Such value.
Priest - Spell - 2 mana - "Put a copy of an enemy minion into your hand."
its a fun card, won't see play in constructed or arena though.
nice for copying battlecries when you need to i guess
I really liked it.
Now you play Priest when you want to make every game into a mirror match!
Fun card, I'm not sure if it will see play, but I hope it does.

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
Umm... This might be a really good mind control or it's not. Damn I leave insightful comments.
Okay seriously you can get the battle cry of like Alex or something... So with swd this very well could be a better (somehow even slower) mind control

I'm not sure if this expansion has given Priest a stronger identity or just made it mirror everyone else's.
Rawr I'm a dinosaur
5 mana, copy something then kill it with shadow word: death.. effective? not overly but worth it if you're losing.
That's my thought as well. MC is also clearly better for most large threats. Against aggressive decks Convert is just awful.
A bit of a shame since I like the card art.
THAT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM!
That it does Garrosh, That it does.
Mirror Matchup priest coming closer to reality.
Trigger battlecries. Mana comparison depends on the mana cost of the minion.
Buffed big cost minion > faceless
Damaged low cost minion, possibly with a interesting battlecry > conversion.
I think it's way higher than 5% tbh.
Two mana draw the card you want. It's interesting. Might be good enough for some constructed deck.

high priest of shenanigans!
So I can copy literally any minion. Okay.
