I think it's not a good card, but I think destroying itself probably is necessary for balance reasons. If it didn't do that it would be borderline OP. You can get a pretty nasty board lock late game with your hero power == infinite creature removal especially if you combo it with a card like Garrison Commander
Edit: Actually now I'm realizing you couldn't really combo it with Garrison Commander at all since it would be destroyed. So it probably would have been reasonable to make it not target itself.
Should be 5 mana. It needs to remove 3 mana minion (from you) to be good (as good as assassinate). Only deck to do that reliably is zoo, and this is too slow for it. Disappointment, seemed so cool idea. Shame.
I agree with most of the comments, this card sucks. There's cheaper ways to get bigger cards on the board and cheaper ways to eliminate opponent's minions. Multiples of each in fact. The only 'possible' advantage is directly killing a lone stealth, but what's that really worth? Nothing with steal is worth that outside of maybe something a rogue does. Heck, twisting nether accomplishes the same thing for the same mana (sans getting a card and taking 2 dmg).
On the other hand it would be over-powered if it was just immune to itself, esp. in late game or combos where you could easily pop off anything (i.e. trading legendries). One compromise that _might_ make it workable would be to target itself last on it's own side, so if you have another card it dies first. Still, even at that, I wouldn't be putting this in any deck I wasn't forced to.
"Inspire: Destroy the minion with least attack for each player."
As long as you have imps or other small stuff it would not destroy itself. Also predictable results (also a good thing). Downside is it cannot destroy big threats unless you deal with smaller threats first.

What about Hope Crusher?
Destroying itself is really unnecessary.

the glass is only half broken
The sole purpose of this card is a nerf to bane of doom.
