Also, while this card might be Aggro tech, I might see this card in Shockadins as well. Taunts in your way? Play this card, Blessing of Kings/Blessing of Might your survivor, hit face. (Assuming that they have a card with a higher attack than their Taunts, but Taunts generally have lower attack than a regular minion of the same cost.)

All the decks I make are Theorycraft. Why? Because they are what I wish I could make if I had all the cards. *sob*
Not really. If your opponent has a lot of scary stuff on the board and you have nothing you will still want to cast this to remove a lot of pressure on the board. From this point you can try to outlast your opponent if they went all-in and don't have cards left. If you have truesilver up, you can take out the last minion, or just humility it.
Well, we won't know until it is tested in play. But if we assume both sides of the field have minions with the same attack, then I think all would be destroyed excluding one minion each for both players. The wording makes it tough to evaluate for this particular eventuality.
how does it work if you have multiple minions with the most attack? does it start taking health into account aswell?
Pretty sure it does not. You are trying to make it more complex in your head than it already is. The card makes no mention of health, only attack. It is most like a random minion among the group with the most attack since the card implies a 1 vs 1 showdown.
A worst brawl. Also why would palladin need this with equality consecrate, which is 6 mana?
People consider this a card for Control Paladins.
Running 2x Equality is a reasonable approach, but keep in mind that the 6 mana combo comes at the cost of 2 cards occupying slots in your deck, not even talking about the downside of not drawning into the second part of the combo during the game. Or, which is more likely, you have to waste your Consecration during the early game - which in turn means you have to rely on having board presence in order to make use of Equality later.
That said, Enter the Coliseum is the definition of a cost effcient boarclear, just like Brawl. No combo required, means you can put another card in your deck instead. What makes this card even better than Brawl, in my opinion, is the fact that you can precisely manipulate the outcome. Absolutely no RNG involved, except when the minions have equal attack (in which case a well-placed Aldor could make the difference).
If Control Paladins will be thing, this card will certainly have a place in it.
For everyone who keeps asking - it was clarified on Twitter that if there's a tie in attack on either player's sides (say, you have two minions with 3 attack) the game randomly chooses one to survive.

Wtf? Paladins already have Equality + Consecration...
Bolvar Fordragon buff? Play this out on a full board then play Bolvar and you've got a pretty hefty +6 attack on him...

To be fair, we've always had Equality + Consecration, Wild Pyromancer + Equality, and kind of with Aldor Peacekeeper + Stampeding Kodo. But, my favorite will always be Equality + Avenging Wrath. It's too glorious for words, even if it's not as viable as the others.

...It's also fun making decks.

Drop Sylvanas and Ragnaros, Enemy have Ragnaros and 6 Ironbark. Suddenly things are going pretty well for you!
In all seriousness, Sylvanas synergy.
right some interesting strategies it opens up!
You need more upvotes!
