Comparable to Perdition's Blade, which is not being played in constructed. This might because it does save your hero some health, which is fairly important for Rogue.
This is just a joke...we get the 7th. 2 drop that is too weak. But this might be the best of the 7. I can see this in a control rogue like cruel taskmaster in warrior. Vs. Agro this can be realy god and fast problem is, that we dont have enogh usefull cards to start a combo with, only backstab, but on turn 2 backstab and this will be overkill 10/10. So only card left is prep, which leads to the question would you use a prep+ x just to let this do 1 damage? Propbly not.
Why cant blizz just give is something like cutpurse but with playable stats? 2/3 1/4.... no we get those useless 2 drops...
Rogue needs cards to be able to be played on curve witout to much loss, everything is so ludicrous clunky. Like the new Buccaneer, thats a well designed rogue minion because it can give tempo but can also be played on turn 1 and be usefull in turn 2.
This card is better than people give it credit. As a rogue it was always a pain to deal with a turn 1 1/3 or a turn 2 haunted creeper etc. This allows you to kill those with backstab and gives you board presence. Previously you had to use backstab and dagger which is a tempo loss. Also, I have won and lost many games as a rogue by 1 damage, this could help push for lethal in the late game.
Also i hope in the next expansion we will get another 0 mana card to anable combos. You never need to play backstab + this on 2, and you wont prep turn 2 either.

cutpurse ensures that i t happens so, in fact, if you actually allready had the coin, you could do that turn 3

Actually pretty good compared the rest of the rogue cards revealed.
If you had in mind to make rogue the only viable pirate deck you should of put another card like Shady Dealer rather than this mini SI7.

Almost an auto pick in arena...but thats not what rogue needed improvement in.
