I think the most obvious way is to play Bear Trap, opponent trigger it on turn 2 and you use this Stablemaster to clear the enemy minion while keeping your bear safe.
Nice beast synegie cards in this expansion, however, the problem of a beast hunter remains the same, there are almost no good, 1, 2 drop beasts which are good enough. Wepspinner, haunted creeper and then .....nothing.
However this might have a real good synegie with bear trap, turn 2 bear trap, enemy pops it, turn 3 this on bear = value.
Also since this lack of good 2 drops a beasthunter would propably run glaive over eagle and this card would have a chance to get in there.

How about King's Elekk and Bear Trap? One is a 3/2 for 2 wich can make you draw a big minion, other is a secret wich can summon an Ironfur Grizzly for 2 mana.
I've wondered the same about bestial wrath but never been bothered to test it my self; if you place a Void Terror next to an immune beast will it die? Because destroying a minion is not the same as dealing damage to kill it, and if not will the Void Terror gain the stats?
Basically I'm just not that familiar with the immune mechanic, not saying this could be a viable strategy, and its use in hunter seems only to avoid the use of divine shield...
Well aware of how irrelevant my opinion is at this point, but you can barely compare Scarlet Purifier to this card. Scarlet Purifier is far worse than this even with the upped health. It is an anti-deathrattle and with the amount of deathrattle there is, the effect is garbage. You would at most kill one enemy if you were lucky, and even then most things would survive unless they are Haunter Creeper . I am not going to pretend Stable Master is great, but at least it aids a deck YOU made rather than trying (and failing) to counter cards that are either not played, or not weak enough to card about 2 damage.
So I built a Beast Hunter to prepare for Standard and this card was one I threw in on a whim because it's sorta cool and I don't have bestial wrath. I find it's better to save it for later on when you can pop it on a Savannah Highmane. If you have this card in hand and a Houndmaster you can play them both on the Highmane turn 7 and have a pretty beefy minion to kill something big for free. As usual though, this is only recommended if you believe it's safe to have an 8/7 on the board that won't get BGH/Poly/Hex'd or what have you. But I've pulled it off a few times. It's definitely a niche card but I haven't felt the pain of it too much being in my deck, and it's fairly easy to get the battlecry off and get a little value from it at least.

A bestial wrath that gives you a 2 mana 4/2...doesn't seem worth it, imo.

I build decks that focus on fun with a dab of competitive thrown in: Thrall, Master of Scales & Shadow C'Nsumes
Sometimes got her through Lock and Load lol
