This is somewhat of an interesting Secret because the current Paladin Secrets like Redemption and Avenge are played around by ignoring minions.
You play around Competitive Spirit by killing minions.
The fact that there exists Secrets which you are forced to play around in the entirely opposite way makes both Secrets stronger.
It's on a similar level between playing around Explosive Trap and Snake Trap.
However, whether this even makes Secrets good enough remains to be seen. Although I do think that with Mysterious Challenger, we might see this and maybe Avenge or Noble Sacrifice being playing in 1s.
Hmm. Might make some room for this one in my token-focused Paladin.

-no minion, no trigger. it needs to have a minion to activate or else it sits there
