Has anyone else noticed that, when Misdirection is popped, no matter how many minions you have on the field, it only seems to target you? Is this an intentional design, or has it not been coded right? If it's intentional, why does it say 'another random CHARACTER' instead of enemy hero?
There is a "bug" with Misdirection if the hero attacked by his own minion has a weapon (or attack from skills or shapeshift), the minion will take retaliation damage from the hero it hit, something that normally does not happen.
Maybe intentional, who knows why only this skill works like this, just something to keep in mind.
If it is your turn and you have a weapon, your hero character has an attack value. During your opponents turn, your weapon is put away and you have no attack value.
If you have an attack value and a minion attacks you then you attack each other.
So if its your turn and you have a weapon and a minion attacks your character - you will attack back.

Nozdormu wins you every game where you opponent has to go to the bathroom on turn 9.
I get that, still it's the only case this can happen, while you can have a weapon equipped all game.
So not very "intuitional" to be honest, even if intended (like I said in the first post), something to keep in mind.
During the enemy turn, you'll notice that the enemy hero loses his/her attack value and the weapon closes off. It seemed quite clear to me after I saw misdirection do that the first time.
It doesn't make sense intuitively, gameplay wise, or flavor wise. Heroes have weapons equipped all the time, they don't use them when attacked, and every time they do attack they lose a charge. So why would I attack my own minion with my axe but not the opponents? How come my attack on my own minion doesn't take a charge?
It is the worst Hunter secret anyway, so whatever Blizzard...

RNG
Yeah I've had it hit minions, just rng on your part.
Really? Because never ONCE have I had a Misdirection hit anything but me. One more reason to hate hunters, I guess.
Dont think it's a bug. Quite logical to me.

Im pretty sure I read a Blizz employee say that the retaliation damage was intentional, but I couldn't find it so maybe not.
