I like the card, might work as a removal piece for Control Warrior. Maybe, probably won't but perhaps. Would have liked a bit of added text. Inspire Can attack face. Wouldn't change much but every 100 games or so you'd hit his face for 10. That is very good.
There is nothing to figure out people....Stuff like Ysera and many others out class the shit out of this card..I know some of you are trying to fathom it but let's just stop. It's bad.
At that point you might as well play a giant instead.
Yeah... I'm trying to be optimistic about these cards and find how they could be played at all. I'm seeing Icehowl as being this late game minions you throw down and use to remove any targets, no matter how big or small, instantly. Sudden Doomsayer after freeze from freeze mage, take it out and leave Icehowl on the board to deal with the next minions. It will be the minion on full board vs full board that you use to take down the Sunwalker or the guy who takes down the Sea Giant the shaman dropped next to his little guys. I have no clue, just trying to fins positives.
You guys overreact.. Yes it is quite a bad but it is still not Magma Rager bad like some mentioned. I really think the thought behind this thing is to kill a medium thread with it and silence or taunt it afterwards.. It is slow and a combo piece -> not that great but it still isn't that bad like most of you are saying.

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?
All this is, is a neutral grom without the ability to go face. Could still be viable for late game control decks but that's about it. Maybe a Priest that runs silence for 0 mana.
Would be better if the card froze your opponent's board for 1 turn while played but that would be OP.
I might try to make this work in mill or ramp druid. Then again, it can be BGH'd and I HATE BGH. Ultimately, probably better to still play around BGH by using 5 attack minions instead. Maybe if they gave him Windfury and Charge that would be pretty good. It wouldn't be like he'd be able to smorc until next turn silence (removing the windfury) anyway.
If it had Foe Reaper's effect in addition to charge it would be pretty viable. As it stands all you'll see is reporting for duty followed by the deaths of many recruits.

Lol; Shaman plays this turn 9 to take board back from Ragnaros. If it lives turn 10, you can Earthshock it and give it windfury to hit face for 20!
Although I don't think Shaman normally has that much board control by turn 9, and they don't normally run the Windfury granting cards...
It is an okay card. I do not understand how people compare it to Magma Rager. Icehowl will always be a 2:1, if that at least does not make the card "okay" then I do not what does. IT has its limitations, in arena it will help you to remove something big and leave something on the board still. As said, pretty good, more for arena than for constructed.
Pretty garbage. It's effectively 9 mana for a very slow 3-for-1 at best (though 2-for-1 or 1-for-1 in most circumstances, or even ends up as a 0-for-1 if they BGH it). If you silence it... congratulations. You paid 9 mana for a 10/10 when you probably could've gotten a Sea Giant out for 7 or 8 in even a control v control game.
I mean, as I said, 9 mana for a very slow 3-for-1. Let's put that into perspective. Nefarian is a nearly-as-big-body, that offers an immediate 3-for-1 (though admittedly can't remove something straight away).
This is the kind of legendary that you *might* play in arena (if the other two are trash), or if your collection is light enough that a 10/10 charge for 9 is actually decent (I think if your collection is that bare, you're better off running midrange decks and topping out with Stormwind Champion).
Essentially assasinate on legs...really not as bad as the majority of people seem to think and certainly not "magma rager tier." Not quite sure where it would fit in, but might be nice in that fatigue paladin theory deck I've been hearing about or potentially in some kind of Aviana/astral deck.

He was a humanoid.

You sir, are amazing. Thankyou.
Nope.

would a silence work to allow it to attack heros? else taunt sounds good

Complete trash. Next.
I will cry if I get this in my packs. I know Blizzard has to make bad legendaries, but usually they are more original, this one sucks in every aspect.
Hello.

what the hell, i really dont get blizzard sometimes ^^
so many legendaries they seem pretty useless :O

unplayable. shit tier. possibly the worst legendary out there?

Punch a minion, ironbeak him, go face.
Well, I think Sneed's Old Shredder just got ... weirder?
