Why is blizzard so intent on screwing over the Warlock class in this expansion?!?! Literally the only cards that may have any uses at all for Warlocks is Fist of Jaraxxus, and MAYBE Wrathguard. And even these two cards will see limited play at best. Every other Warlock card is terrible.
In theory, an 'unkillable' minion seems pretty cool.
In reality, giving it such poor stats that it can't even survive an attack into the Ironbeak Owl that cripples it is just, well, so, so sad. See, a Shredder - the premier 4 drop - is still a 4/3 after it gets silenced. A 1/1 after silence? Puh-lease; even with the deathrattle that's a laughable statline.
This is just so freaking bad. Are they trying to intentionally make a bad card so zoo and handlock don't get any stronger?
The FUCK were they thinking as they made this card?
Especially with Patron currently dominating the meta.
They were thinking about making a card with an interesting mechanic for fun decks. They can't (and obviously don't) make every card for competitive play.
Another useful warlock epic ... oh wait. Too slow, too low of an impact to be good anywhere. Better in arena than in constructed, but suck pretty hard in both. Maybe there will be some kind of demon deck in the future, where it will be very good for u to always have a demon on board, but as it is now, this card is a wasted deckslot. Maybe can be silence bait, but cmon rly?
At 2/2... Sure. 3/3 for 6. Sure. Would still be fairly balanced compared to Grim Patron.
Someone over at Blizzard should seriously get fired. Unless they're creating all these useless cards intentionally, because they read a bad article by Mark Rosewater and was inspired to create a slew of horrible cards that cause the good cards to become even better in Arena, increasing the RNG in deckbuilding -- while not changing the cancerous face metagame at all.
A taunt aura - something like Stormwind Champion or Raid Leader but for taunt. Then you'd have an unkillable wall in the form of a 1/1.
Something to give summoned demons charge - like a Tundra Rhino for demons?
Something that got a large benefit from deathrattle summons or triggers - If undertaker still had its old card text, I reckon this might have seen some niche play. Maybe.
You play this on turn 7, you play hobgoblin after!, you sac-pact it and get health from it, and it resummons itself and hobgoblin buffs it! Then your opponent wastes his only silence on it.
How come no one thinks this goes great with anima golem??
Well it sort of does... until they silence the 1/1, kill it, and get a free kill of the Golem. Even if not, Anima Golem lives in a meta where BGH is present thanks to Dr Boom.
Not sure if anyone said this already but I'm going to make a Hobgoblin zoo deck with Anima Golem and this for sure.
Hobgoblin only cares about a minion being played, not summoned. When you play Dreadsteed from your hand it'll be a 3/3 - but when it comes back with its deathrattle, it'll be a 1/1 as it isn't being played.
Warlocks don't need any new OP cards anyway. They have plenty of good decks as is. As a Druid and shaman player I've been very pleased so far with those two classes and the fact that warlock and hunter haven't gotten much at all yet :)
Really love the idea, but as someone said, this sin't MTG. 1/1s just don't have enough impact in Hearthstone. If it was 2 mana then it might become a staple. It would eat up a silence or would punish all game long. But as it stands, the 4 mana slot is a tough role to play a part in, the shoes there are too big to be filled.
Love the idea, don't see it happening :-(

Going to run Sky Golem in Patron Decks just for the chance to get this and Warsong :D

It's a good minion, but too expensive. People who cry murder are largely ignoring all the synergies this card represents.
Uh, erm, no we don't.

The ultimate card to make your opponent feel bad for silencing or transforming a 1/1 minion :7
Not sure, but the max is 3 minions for them respawn themselves with a board wipe.
On the bright side, tecnically this will never leave the board unelss silenced.
A 1 freaking 1.

The same people poo-pooing this card are the same people who said that Imp-losion was crap because it only spawned a bunch of worthless 1/1s.
This is a half decent card. It would have been much better at 3 mana, but even at 4 mana it is not terrible.
It could see some synergistic use with Anima Golem.
Poetic.
Effects that would make this good:
A taunt aura - something like Stormwind Champion or Raid Leader but for taunt. Then you'd have an unkillable wall in the form of a 1/1.
Something to give summoned demons charge - like a Tundra Rhino for demons?

Here it is... the combo...
You play this on turn 7, you play hobgoblin after!, you sac-pact it and get health from it, and it resummons itself and hobgoblin buffs it! Then your opponent wastes his only silence on it.
The value. Kappa
Does Hobgoblin buff tokens/minions summoned from death rattle? Like Creeper's Spectral Spiders?
i like it. 1 power is deceiving in zoo/demon decks

We voted down a cool looking paladin card for this?
