This makes me think there will be at least 1 new dragon for each class(probably epic), one dragon sinergy card for each class, and some dragon/dragon sinergy as neutral cards. They'll finish what Blackrock Mountain had started.
I feel like this card would be ridiculous, if it wasn't a warrior card. Firery Skill Axe is over all better for control or even aggro warrior, also Warrior still needs better dragon synergy cards.
I wonder if we're going to get a dragon card of some sort for all of the classes missing the dragon synergy with this release? Just missing 5 classes now.
Fingers crossed for a dragon consort type neutral/warrior card being revealed to make a dragon warrior deck a viable thing. I mean Alex and Ysera are already being run in warrior so it wouldn't even require that much effort to switch the deck up to focus on dragons.
It's alright... But warriors have weapons. I'm not sure why you'd run this over Fiery War Axe. I mean, if you're playing a dragon deck, do you want board presence or an equipped weapon? The weapon has 2 charges, while this thing will like die after it's first attack. Dragon decks aren't rush decks, so this thing should be used to trade into an early minion. But your weapon can do just that... only twice!? I don't see the advantage.
Feels like one of those cards that looks good but will probably never see play, unless a more aggressive Dragon Warrior deck becomes much better. It doesn't really fit Control or Current Dragon Warrior all that well and the 2 spot is pretty full in Warrior as it stands.
Cool card. Should be a dragon itself, I doubt 'Alexstraza's Champion' would be anyone except a dragon of the Ruby Dragonflight in their elf form, but cool enough on it's own.
Well as a player that plays dragon warrior, i see no place for this card. Want to deal 3 dmg? You got fiery war axe or blackwing corruptor.
You also have very little room for small minions, and would rathar focus on late game with armorsmith and taskmaster. Even with 100% synergy i would not put it in my deck. In fact i pulled a war axe out because early pressure is not an issue with warrior that can go to 30 armor.
Man, I've been playing a No Weapon/Dragon Warrior for a while. And I feel like this is going to make it a little better, really excited. Might even become a tier 2 deck or something.

Why would you play weaponless warrior ever? If you're getting harrisoned just stop playing Warrior
This is clearly a tempo card in one of the slowest archetypes in the entire game.....I don't see it seeing play despite being among the best 2 drops in the game. Maybe a mid-range build could work since Blackwing Technician, Blackwing Corruptor, Fiery War Axe, and now Alexstraza's Champion all give tempo and high levels of value in one card. Maybe with dragons like Azure Drake and Drakonid Crusher, a new kind of dragon deck could see play in warrior. It's worth a try any way.

Hah, yeeh, I disagree. 1st of all, it's always fun to make your own unique deck. 2nd and mainly, it's for the element of being unpredictable. I have won several games against classic Control Warriors, because of them keeping Harrison in hand making him a dead card. Also killing of their Ysera for example, with my Rend Blackhand. There you got it fella', that's the reason I play a weaponless/dragon Warrior right there.

That's not a reason to use weaponless warrior lol. That's like saying you wouldn't run giants in Handlock because someone might BGH one of them or that you wouldn't run a taunt in ramp druid because your opponent might be running TBK. Cards like Fiery War Axe are what make warrior good as a class. Without weapons, you might as well kiss your good matchups against aggro decks goodbye. No amount of armor is going to make up for the lack of board control.
If a 3/5 is not played a 3/3 charge wont be played either. Dragon decks =/= Face decks.
The 3/5 could be played if a more midrange based dragon deck existed...not to mention that the 3/5 is a 3 mana card while this guy is a 2 mana card that also has an upside on top of a 3/3 body. I doubt mid-range dragon warrior will become a thing unless there are better mid ranged dragons announced, but unplayed good cards often just need more cards in a similar archetype to be viable. 3/3 with charge is absolutely ridiculous and stacked with Blackwing techs, there could be a deck in the making.

Does anyone else kind of wish this was a Hunter or Warlock card?

Still waiting for the new murlocs to come out.
Even without a dragon its a good card, face warrior buff

Finally good to see a card where (almost) everyone is happy and satisfied.
Fiery War Axe and Armorsmith are weak plays if enemy has no minions on board turn 2. This is great in that scenario.

Oh my, they're buffing control warrior so much in this expansion... I love it.
Really, they made it just for Warrior Control decks. It even makes direct reference to Alexstraza!
