It's bad against control : I prefer having a silence, and Equality or BGH. It's bad against aggro : turn 7 is too late and making a bunch of 1/2 is not worth.
On the other hand, it seems to be quite good vs midrange. Midrange usually has 2-3-4 creatures of 3-5 attack. That would be real value. Imagine 2x Savannah Highmane and a Loatheb with 1 atk ... not bad !
its pretty good against control because you can use it to make the most efficient trades when you need it without using your Aoe spells. silence only works in one minion, and equality is almost incompatible with a decent minion board presence, and bgh have the same problem as silence.
paladins (not eboladins) usually have the board control in the mid game so easily this card could help a lot in a turn 7 instead of dr.boom (who dont do nothing to the oponent in your turn). idk why are you comparing this card with sylvanas, tyrion and ragnaros since they are drop 6 & 8, not 7. please try to see a bit beyond one's nose
Please read better before responding. I never compared any card.

You do realize that palladin is not mage, or shaman right? there have never been straight up answers to cards like you listed except for tinkmaster back in the day. You have to be aware of what your opponent may have in his deck, and play accordingly. In general I find palladin is favored against warrior despite not having perfect answers to things like grommash or alexstraza. One of palladin's biggest probelms is not having the equlaity or the activator for it when you need it. This card makes a scary board into a not so scary board. you can stall out, or you can make the board weak against one of your strong plays. Its a good card suited to the style of play palladins have. the stats of the card itself don't even really matter because the effect is really amazing. Something to keep in mind too, is that this card and aldoor also may bait out a silence on one of your opponents cards vs your own.
I do realize that, and that's exactly what I say. Paladin never had problem to deal with Dr. Boom or Gruul, for example (even though he's not played, that's just an example). Paladin has problem to deal with Sylvanas, Tirion, Ysera ... and THIS CARD is not the solution either.
Do you understand what I mean ? I'm not saying this is a bad card. I'm saying it just does what Paladin already does. Burst, early removal, card draw, targetted hard removal : that's what Paladin misses, not another card to lower ennemy's damage. I'm not sure it will have any success because of this, can be overkill.
There are 2 types of people in this world: those who can see how good this card is, and those who are too blind to.
There are two types of people the ones who dig and the others with the gun. This card sucks. Have fun dying to aggro on august 24th!
So you're saying that this card is bad only versus aggro? That means it's good against the rest of decks, so it's a good card overall. Do you have any valid argument why this card sucks? By your logic Ragnaros and Sylvanas suck too, right? Don't judge the card by the meta, judge it by itself. Two thirds of the legendaries suck against aggro, that doesn't mean they are bad cards. It's like saying the sun is bad cause it ruins your eyes when you look into it.
My valid arguments are 5 pages earlier, I have no interest in constantly repeating myself just some dudes that wont listen anyway can make a passive aggressive post like you did.
Your argument isn't completely off base, but I really don't see how 1 card replacing or in reality, supplementing a 2 card combo is bad in any way...
It's MORE control options for a control deck, that is not bad at all. Most control paladins run 2-3 of the cards that have a similar effect to this, a card that does that to the entire board is solid.
The number of times that I didn't have equality + consecrate combo or I didn't want to use it because death rattle effects are plentiful, this is a nice option that will definitely be included in my control paladin deck, and I will be surprised if I don't see this as a general inclusion to any control paladin. I wouldn't replace equality + consecrate, I'd just add this to my arsenal.
I actually like the 3/7 body its not easy to remove, probably the one attack minions go face after the effect ,but i can garanty that this card is good in five words, ........

Not sure why there's so much hate surrounding this card. It's really good. Sure it can't win u games against a huge patron or zoo board but at that point you're pretty far gone anyways. This card is great against control and does well against midrange decKS provided you aren't being completely overrun. It helps u when ur behind which is always great. And it's tough for people to trade into it because everyone has 1 attack when this guy hits the board. Sees play in control and probably midrange because it enables really good trades. If you compare this card to aldor, it's worse if u hit 1 target, similar in value if u hit 2 and anything else is bonus. To have a card that on average is slightly worse than aldor but has the potential to be better and has that much impact on a board is great. Not gonna save u versus aggro and patron but does well in pretty much every other case
Gotta love the opinions people have on this card. Some think it's great, some think it's absolute garbage. Even amongst the pros doing reviews, the opinions on this card are all over the place.

Because it's an absolutely crazy card ... in some few situations. Some people think those situations will come often, some other don't.
I like it because it's versatile and it does indeed stall the game, something that Paladin can really take advantage of with the following tirion/lay on hands play.
Yea I'd be suprised if it's bad thou. I think at the very worst it's a decent consideration for control paly based on the meta and at best it's a staple in control and even midrange decks. Although edric is probably more of a control card, it allows crazy trades for midrange.
Interesting card, though i don't think it will see much play in midrange Paladin, which already runs a lot of situational cards and wants more value. However, this card could find a place in control Paladin, which seems to have all the tools to be one of the best fatigue / control decks around, thanks to the addition of Master Jouster, Tuskar Jouster, and this legendary. Between this card, dual Aldor, lots of Taunt and heal, and lots of board clear, most boards can be taken care of with the right hand.
Also, to people saying that Equality + Consecrate is better against decks that swarm the board, that's not always true. For example, Zoolock often has on the board multiple minions with deathrattles, such as Nerubian Egg, Haunted Creeper, and Voidcaller, so clearing the board might not be the best solution. This card however, gives you one more turn to respond to the board accordingly, and even has 3 Attack, meaning that Voidcaller can't be activated by attacking into it. Yes, the Nerubian Egg gets 1 attack and can be activated, but do you really mind if the opponent pops his Deathrattles with so good board clears?
Finally, this card's effect has nice synergy with Tirion, because the opponent will often have to silence one of his own minions to not totally give up board control, which makes Tirion happy.
This card on a board with Nerubian Egg, Haunted Creeper and Voidcaller would be a terrible play. Nobody would Equality + Consecrate either against such a board. Moreso, who would panic on turn 7 against zoolock with such a shitty board ?
People say Eadric is situational. I disagree. Eadric will be good when the opponent has minions on the board. This is all about board control.
When people see a 7 mana legendary, they immediately compare it with Dr. Boom. Boom is a very good minion indeed, but what if you behind? A lot of decks run BGH as a counter to the doctor, and there's quite a lot of situations where you simply can not afford to play him.
Eadric will not be a minion you can play when your opponent doesn't have minions, but he doesn't need to as he'll be in a control deck.

I meant a board with Deathrattle minions AND hight Attack minions. For example, against a board with Voidcaller + Loatheb + Nerubian Egg + + Defender of Argus, i would rather play this minion than Equality + Consecrate. Plus, Eadric can be played after Loatheb against Zoo.
but at that point youre already in a horrible position, dropping him is only lessening the blow to stall. Its not game changing at all.
EXACTLTLY! that's what I was thinking! with all the new cards, a lot of them get ridiculous buffs from inspire, like the lowly squire. So I think paladin would really use up the hero power to kill a lot of stuff early game (with the help of equality and repentance). This buffs up bolvar for midgame (where 4/7 is already OP for 5 mana) and eadric would clear up for the later game making way for tyrion. with all the insipre cards coming out, most of the removal would be spent early on in the game probably.

Yes, it deals with board advantage. But Paladin has already many tools to do that (Equality, Consecration, Wild Pyromancer, Tirion Fordring).
Against Control, if I must deal with Sylvanas Windrunner, Dr. Boom or Ragnaros the Firelord, I'd rather have Ironbeak Owl, Aldor's Peacekeeper or Big Game Hunter.
@Tharos : Eadric the Pure + Coghammer is a 10 mana combo. Equality + Consecration is a 6 mana combo.

I think 3/7 is quite good for mass aldor. and high cost means all these peepadin cards viable!
they should let warriors have this card too
Justice Demands Retribution
couldn't agree more sir !
