Seems like it could punish some decks that rely on larger minions mid-late game, but I suppose you could just Silence your minions. Looks like one of the only times I would consider using Wailing Soul , but even then....
Pretty strong I think. May even be played in some buff/token paladin deck using all the Eggs to buff their Attack to one (might be a waste, though :D)
It only hits enemy minions. You can't use this to buff your 0 - attack minions to 1 attack.
Plus it'd be awful if it hit your minions instead of just your opponent's.

Hearthstone is a math game. If you think it's overpowered, do the math, compare it to other similar cards, and then if it doesn't all add up, complain about it being overpowered.
Guys, don't you realise that this card also, indirectly, buffs Aldor Peacekeeper?
It isn't uncommon that the Aldor is your only play on turn three, and often you have to bite your tongue and not play it because you know that there will be threats later in the game which absolutely need to follow the rules. With Eadric in your deck you can safely make that 3/2 Juggler follow the rules, make the Piloted Shredder follow the rules AND if the nasty Highmane shows his ugly face you can also make it follow the rules!
Those rules man. So many rules!
Aldor is now a legitimate 3 drop. Be wasteful!
Seriously hyped for this, can't wait to try him.
Aldor Peacekeeper has always been one of the most strongest 3-drop. thias card changes nothing to this :P
Indeed. Eardic makes a good card even better.
But since you are a proud Handlock player I'm sure you will realise that soon enough :)
Realizing what ? That not every Paladin decks runs him... I'll noticed it soon enough. This card is slow. I won't lay down many of my threaths like a tard would overextend. Don't worry, this card won't stop the might of the Handlock. It'll merely slow down the aggression in some matches, I concur. But it's far from being a Handlock killer, I promise you.

Used to be a proud Handlock player.
Legend 17 times.
Still flirting with the ladder from times to times with Renolock.
A shittier more expensive Aldor? Most of the time, this card is going to be used against a single big target or multiple small zooish minions in which case you're still overwhelmed and will get face smashed.
Also another card you can't drop on an empty board. Why would ANYONE play this over Dr. BAlanced?
What to replace for Eadric ? I feel Dr. Boom is still stronger ...
You definitely need to run both. It will be 50/50 when Eadric is better than boom and other way around. In current healadin deck you run two 7 drops - Boom and Guardian of Kings. As Guardian of Kings and healbot will be replaced by Tuskarr Jouster, you have a free 7-slot for Eadric.
In other control pallys that are using mustards I'm not so sure, I played that version a long time ago.
Replacing 14 garanteed heal for 7 randow heal, I'm not sure this deck can be called healadin then. That's my fear, Guardian of Kings has better stats than Eadric, and I really don't think Eadric will be THAT good (you already have 2 Aldors, 1 BGH, 2 Consecration and 1 Equality in the deck. Eadric seems kinda overkill).

The deck will run 2 [card]Tuskarr Jouster[/card], Lay on Hands and Truesilver Champion. Still lot of heals. I'm not sure if we're talking about the same deck. I mean a deck with 2 equalities + 2 pyromancers + 2 concerations. As it looks like you have already plenty of AOE effect, sometimes you just don't draw the proper combination. This is a single card noncombo AOE which is quite powerful and will make a deck more consistent.
Control pally is already handlock killer, I have like 65-70% winrate with healadin against them. With this card we're approaching Freeze Mage vs Control Warrior scenario.
True. On the other hand, what you have to ask yourself is, do you need another Handlock counter if you already have 65-70% win rate against Handlock. Fortunately, it's not only good against Handlock but also mid-range in general (like mid-range Hunter)
There are 2 types of people in this world: those who can see how good this card is, and those who are too blind to.
There are two types of people the ones who dig and the others with the gun. This card sucks. Have fun dying to aggro on august 24th!
So you're saying that this card is bad only versus aggro? That means it's good against the rest of decks, so it's a good card overall. Do you have any valid argument why this card sucks? By your logic Ragnaros and Sylvanas suck too, right? Don't judge the card by the meta, judge it by itself. Two thirds of the legendaries suck against aggro, that doesn't mean they are bad cards. It's like saying the sun is bad cause it ruins your eyes when you look into it.

My valid arguments are 5 pages earlier, I have no interest in constantly repeating myself just some dudes that wont listen anyway can make a passive aggressive post like you did.
Indeed i admit i did not read your other posts, but when you wrote "have fun dying to aggro on the 24th" it pissed me off a bit. Perhaps my attitude was wrong, but many people judge a card by the meta and that's not really fair.
also still useful as a 7 drop vs a board you wanna trade with that turn. love it.
Not a comeback card. If you're that behind, even a swarm of high health 1/x'es is going to kill you but yes. To enable favorable trading this is superb.
As someone who has played tons of control palladin, even in ranked ladder the last two seasons, i can say this card and the new 5 drop card make the deck much stronger. I run two aldoors, and knowing that i can have a turn 7 aoe aldoor, on turns when stuff like the good doctor come out to play, i will feel better about using and aldoor on an early game minion so i dont lose board presence. Those who say this card is garbadge or bad dont play much palladin. I expect this card to show up in many strong palladin decks of the future.
yeah that's what i thought too. this gives us pally players so much more room to play aldor. control + strong early-mid board presence. and with the new pally tuskar, oh man i'm lovin it
There are 2 types of people in this world: those who can see how good this card is, and those who are too blind to.
They are not blind, they are lazy. They look at the card for 3 seconds, not even try to think about "How could I use this card?" and insta call it garbage. They wait for someone to do the thinking for them and make the card usefull and in case that someone is too successfull they come here later on and cry that the card is too OP because - again - they are too lazy to think for themselves how to counter it. (Patron Warrior scenario)
I have a feeling that if Eadric the Pure is released before or along G&G, people will theorycraft more instead of insta calling it a garbage. Meta got so fast to a point people don't theorycraft as much as they use to be. People's mentality have really changed...even Priest go SMOrc these days. All thanks for G&G.
P.S. As a side note to some people comparing Eadric the Pure to Troggzor the Earthinator. Majority of people rated Troggzor the Earthinator good and Dr. Boom bad not because all of them are shortsighted, but because their judgement is based on pre-G&G meta. People just didn't realize how much G&G end up accelerating the meta.
It's bad against control : I prefer having a silence, and Equality or BGH. It's bad against aggro : turn 7 is too late and making a bunch of 1/2 is not worth.
On the other hand, it seems to be quite good vs midrange. Midrange usually has 2-3-4 creatures of 3-5 attack. That would be real value. Imagine 2x Savannah Highmane and a Loatheb with 1 atk ... not bad !
Imagine if you have a board when you play this thing - you'll wipe your opponent much like Kel'thuzad can, plus unlike that card, you can play it against a board without cringing

You do realize that palladin is not mage, or shaman right? there have never been straight up answers to cards like you listed except for tinkmaster back in the day. You have to be aware of what your opponent may have in his deck, and play accordingly. In general I find palladin is favored against warrior despite not having perfect answers to things like grommash or alexstraza. One of palladin's biggest probelms is not having the equlaity or the activator for it when you need it. This card makes a scary board into a not so scary board. you can stall out, or you can make the board weak against one of your strong plays. Its a good card suited to the style of play palladins have. the stats of the card itself don't even really matter because the effect is really amazing. Something to keep in mind too, is that this card and aldoor also may bait out a silence on one of your opponents cards vs your own.

Now all we need is a stampede of kodos and paladin will have 3 class built table flips.

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
This is what I call a glorious comeback card!

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
The problem is this card won't get rid of Sylvannas Windrunner, Ragnaros the Firelord, Ysera or even Tirion Fordring.
And it won't stop Dr. Boom, Alexstrasza to land their battlecry or Grommash Hellscream to hit your face for 12.
