Everybody seems so hyped about reveal mechanic. I like that mechanic, but - if I understand correctly - opponent will see your card as well. So yes, it is interesting - but have in mind downside. It is small downside, but still.
Well, you wouldn't play this card in a deck where your plan is to surprise the opponent with a unusual deck. When you play against, say a Warlock and he drops turn 1 Zombie chow you immediately know that it is not a zoo but either Handlock, Malylock or maybe some Demonlock. Same deal when playing this card. The card itself reveals that you are a controlly deck.
Good point actually. Yeah, so I can see that as a spy mechanic.

Generally if you know the meta youll know the decks. That is not a too big of an issue that your opponent knows your deck. The ebenfit of the mechanic is more important and well, this one is not bad at all must say.
Although I'd rather have Chow on turn 1 (to consistently get out a 2/3), I'd much rather have this guy on like turn 8. Revealing a minion still in the deck at that stage of the game could actually be useful information (for example, if you reveal a BGH then you know your opponent doesn't have BGH in his hand), and at that stage a 1/2 is basically the same as a 2/3: just a token body.
So would I rather have the early game consistency of Chow or the late-game usability of this guy? Probably Chow, it's just too important against aggro. Still, an interesting alternative to consider.
Against aggro and midrange, you want a guaranteed 2/3 body instead of an RNG-based one, even it's 90-10 to your favor , and 5 point of healing doesn't matter that much because you're winning by outlasting.
Against control, again, 5 points of healing doesn't matter that much. This does reveal a minion from both of decks, which may or may not be what you want in a control match-up.
This is a great card. It can be used both on control but also in aggro decks. Its gonna bring lot of changes in the gameplay also with the reveal ability.
It's time to bring out Deathwing to the aggro decks! Ok maybe not but at least Sea Giant.
Anyway, I really like the idea of this mechanic. In an aggro heavy meta, control decks can take great use of it, but when up against other control decks it becomes more of a gamble.
I really hope it ends up as a good mechanic and that it helps slow down the meta.
This card in specific seems good in a control-aggro matchup, but the drawback on Zombie Chow isn't that big tbh... oh well, might see play.
I don't think this replaces zombie chow at all, frankly. I don't hesitate to play Chow because of the 5 health in a Druid deck, I choose to play it because I like the consistency that a 2/3 on Turn 1 gets you. Unless the meta is SUPER quick (and even then it'd be iffy) then why would I play this? The 5 health is usually irrelevant, and this could backfire much more than Chow can.
This is the early game cleanup for control decks, kinda like Zombie Chow. I don't bother with those anyway, but I might try him out. Information on your opponent's deck on the very first turn is very useful.
I don't know if it's going to be consistent enough...would probably want Zombie Chow more....unless this gives more stats maybe of +1/+2 instead otherwise why risk it when you can go for the sure thing....Zombie chow also works great to counter mirror secret.
The amount of times this will be drawn into another Gadgetzan Joustler. Prepare for some unforgettable reactions

An alternative to Zombie Chow but I think Zombie Chow is overall better.

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
Zombie Chow with no downside if you're running a generally high curve deck. Very good vs Aggro. And you play Zombie Chow against Aggro.
And unlike Zombie Chow he's not a liability past the early turns.
But here's the real question: What happens if either player has no more minions in their decks?

Please insert Coin....
I don't think it will replace Zombie Chow in control decks. I prefer a reliable 2/3 and I don't care about the health.
On the other hand, midrange decks will like this.
I don't see the point in aggro.
I'm glad :D
Looks promising for druid and handlock.. would give it a try
Who can take your trash out?
Stomp it down for you?
Shake the plastic bag
and do the twisty thingy, too?
Worse than Chow
Zombie chow got dethroned
Agreed :-)
Please insert Coin....
Probably a one-of in Ramp or Combo Druid, replacing Zombie Chow, as playing two of it seems anti-synergistic...
art (and you can allso see the lance weapon)
There is no cancer deck in hearthstone ! You are the Cancer !

Great card, anti aggro is here!

Deck scouting + Zombie Chow combined, Yup.
