If it was a 2/4, it might be good, provided they add more viable spell damage early game creatures. But as a 4/2, it's just bad. Worse than blood knight.
To everyone saying that it is easy to remove, of course it is. It costs 3 mana. If it was hard to remove, it would be somewhat OP as hell.
Blood knight is a 6/6 when it triggers once, and a 9/9 when it triggers twice. Yes, you may lose a divine shield, but it also can steal divine shields from your opponent's minions, and that card isn't run.
seems okay. Depends if tgt introduces a new spell damage minion that can synergize with the Master of Ceremonies. Right now theres thalnos, azure drake, and Kobold :P
Yet another unplayable card. It just doesn't do anything and 4 health is terrible, on top of the already mentioned tougher activation requirement than goblin sapper which is another completely unplayable card. At least it's an epic so we'll get solid dust out of it.

This is the best comparison. And the best point I have seen so far when arguing if the card is bad or good. About the only point I can really make about your comparison is that at least it doesn't eat the spell damage off your creature, not sure if that is worth 2 health points of stats though.
People who say this card sucks... Seriously though, 6/4 for 3 is bad? Oh, yeah, there's a condition, you actually gotta create some new sort of deck and try to play around her a bit. You gotta create a deck, how horrific that is? :/
I guess that's why Goblin sapper is a staple in so many decks. Yet he has better stat distributions.
Are you really comparing a card that depends on the opponent's hand to a card you can build your deck around, so which depends on your own cards? Well done, sir. Irony is to be used when relevant.
This card obviously sucks, but you can find people to defend anything I guess.
Uhm... No, it doesn't. a 4/2 body isn't even that bad for a 3 mana card. It's just 1 health below the standard. Obviously there are better cards to play, but if u have a deck with a lot of spell damage, then this card is excellent. The only problem is that no competitive decks exist that try to use as much spellpower as possible. Maybe in the future though.
You're just wrong, the standard for a 3 drop is 7 points worth of stats, so you're already behind 1 point, so the way you have to read this card is +1 Attack /+2 HP if you have a Spellpower and suddenly this card is even less interesting than it appears.
10 stats for 3 mana is insane, even though the distribution isn't perfect. It's a huge threat on the board when you can play it on turn 3 with the effect. I don't see why you say it's bad. Yes, it isn't great, but it certainly isn't bad either.
It isn't great = It won't be played = it's bad.
There is a a lot of cards that aren't "great" that see play now because they synergize well in the decks they are in.
This is not the kind of synergy you're looking for, Spell Damage minions, the ones that are played are played because they are good, you're not going to play more Spell Damage minions to make this mediocre card work.

This depends entirely on what other cards we get really, doesn't it. At the moment, with what we have, you are pretty much correct. This point is one I made earlier. I am willing to experiment though.
This card is pretty bad. Thalnos RARELY sees play and he's the best spell power card in the game. I can't see a 6/4 for 3 changing that. Those stats aren't even all that amazing.

You can say this about anything, all I can consider right now is the information in front of me, could one day Thrallmar Farseer control be a deck, sure doesn't mean it's worth discussing.

This expansion..FailFish
I could see people playing this in constructed, what with Malylock being a thing.

In a rush-heavy meta of all things. =P
Surprise!
Really hoping for a great 2 drop with spell damage. Might have to craft thalnos, oh well.
sick card
the problem is that hearthstone only have 9 minions with Spell damage... and only 2 see play.
http://www.hearthpwn.com/cards/minion?display=1&filter-spelldamage=1&filter-token=0
but 130+ cards... if they add at least more 5 minions.. maybe
it says "when you have a minion" ...
Does this means a minion on board ? or a minion on hand ? Probably on board, but this text is confusing ,,,

Quite boring but insane value.
