There are about 100 cards to be revealed. If I were Blizzard I would also reveal worse cards first so when an insane card drops everybody will go crazy. Also the Legendaries are the only cards I'm really excited for and so far they are decent. You can only say the expansion sucks after all the cards are revealed but I'll think it will be just fine.GVG turned out great.
Wouldn't it be smarter to reveal the good cards now since the Pre-Order is currently available to attract more customers on how "good" this expansion is going to be?
Well, techically people will be more inclined on buying the packs, but blizzard would gain less profit if the cards were bought now because of the discount.
It's a weird card... We have to see what may come. We have two rares, an epic, and a legendary, so maybe we see synergy?
Honestly I'm more disappointed by the blandness of the card.

Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.

That's not how you generate hype for your product. You start out with a bang, something exciting. Blizzard has failed to do this with this set. Everything released has been beyond lame.
Going by your logic, movie previews should only show some boring scenes and the credits, with the promise that "the good stuff is coming later". Right.....
Unlike others, I like it. It isn't game breaking and depending on how they tune some future creatures, its possibly going to have more of an impact than BGH.
Comparing this to BGH and Assassinate means little, mage can afford slower turns than Rogue can and BGH doesnt handle all tough creatures. If the meta were to slow down with a bunch of creatures which dodge BGH, the usefulness of this card drastically increases.

Why not compare it to Polymorph then. There's no reason why you'd play this over Polymorph which costs one less mana and has a silence effect. Or even Fireball. Fireball kills most of the things this kills. The 1/1 sheep is not enough reason to play this over Poly.

Oh yeah, a shitty polymorph ... keep the good stuff coming!
seriously though, if they want to hype the expansion they should really stop spoling the bad cards, especially via the famous streamers that really have a huge influence on the community!
I LOVE IT! The mage control game can be so strong with this. It kills giants with 5 MANA! And it looks awesome
The first comments on the cards are sometimes really hilarious ... sure, why not pay rather 5 mana to kill a giant with a beautiful spell instead of paying 4 but having to stand that ugly looking 4/2 creature on your side of the board!

1of this and 2 Polymorph won't be bad in a control/fatigue oriented deck where u use ur spells mainly to clean board and wait for antonidas to come.
Maybe. I mean it's a fair enough card but it just doesn't fill any niche and it's at the point where damage spells for minions is mostly redundant because of direct removal.

Man, everyone has been super harsh on these card releases. I mean, come on everyone, with poly you use it and then you have to ping the sheep. Flame Lance allows you to avoid using two mana for that ping :D
Was stoked and anticipated to pre-purchase this expansion, but each day and reveal I've become skeptical and hesitant to finally pre-purchase. Hmm, might just use all the gold I've saved up instead.
edit: feels exclusively made to give more variety in arena or to punish the novice players even more
I'm sure there will be something that interacts with ''dealing damage to a minion'' like a secret or something.
Or a legendary that doubles the damage of friendly spells and splits damage, but the spell must be cast on him. Then this card would be: Destroy a friendly minion and fire 16 missiles.

Is the theme of the new expansion: real bad cards?
Will choose fireball anyday.
Another nerf for Nexus-Champion Saraad.
(just following the crowd)
Not sure if hyped yet.

It is good, no?
Good card for budget decks and arena, wont probably see much play in high rank though

the golden version could look really nice
Like real talk here. It could say deal 2.5 billion damage to a minion and still just be assassinate.

So far, every card given to a streamer is deemed as bad by the streamer itself.
Blizzard might want to rethink their strategy for TGT.

It will be a great option if the meta changes to Giants/Dragons. (8/8s) Better to have more choices than less of course.
Not sure if hyped yet.
pretty crappy in Constructed but wicked good in Arena. So overall an okay card.
Compared to bgh, at least this card can kill off 6 or lower attack minions. Still not a big fan of it.
