Hey, I'm playing mostly mage and I already have the following legendaries:
Lorewalker Cho, Leeroy, Hogger, Ragnaros and Alexstrasza.
I have enough dust to craft another legendary, mostly thinking about Tinkmaster or Nat but I'm not sure which one. Tinkmaster may be better but with mage you have polymorph so maybe better got nat? or is tink just better? Unless you think i should craft Thalnos or Cairne. I would love a ysera but i think that right now i need a lower cost card.
It depends pretty heavily on what you are trying to do and what your deck looks like since all 4 are strong cards, but generally speaking both Bloodmage Thalnos and Nat Pagle have better synergy with other mage class cards than Tinkmaster Overspark does. Additionally you're usually gonna be using spells for removal as mage and with no class cards to buff the 2/2 left over by Tinkmaster he loses some value for mage. I can't really comment on Tinkmaster's viability for rush/swarm style decks as I have no experience with using him offensively on my own guys.
I haven't used Cairne Bloodhoof with a mage deck since I usually play alarmo gimmicks or spell decks but he seems decent enough on paper if you are using minions. Mage doesn't really have other 6 mana options and he's a strong card that can eat removal or tie up the mid-game while you ready your late bigs or serve as a yeti swarm if you are rushing. But again, it's deck/playstyle dependent. If you do end up using Cairne, consider making room for a Faceless Manipulator or two. Fun times.
Ultimately my vote would be Pagle or Thalnos, leaning Pagle since he does something rather unique while Thalnos can essentially be replicated by a Kobold Geomancer. Yes, kobold lacks the draw but in the case of Mage I feel Thalnos' deathrattle is the less important of the two effects. But again - this could change with your deck-type.

What do you think? :)
edit: fixed mistakes
Depends on deck I guess but I'd go for Thalnos. Gives card even if he dies instantly unless earthshocked + gives spell damage.

Thanks for the replies. I guess ill have to decide between thalnos and nat. They are both good in different ways so it wont be easy :)
