i agree with some of you saying it should be a 3/4. on the other hand, i may use this in priest to have a semi-solid 2 drop or potentially use in paladin. there are many games where my turn 3 is just hero power so i could somewhat justify this. also it combos fairly well with Coghammer. turn 2 this and then turn 3 hammer means a 2/4 divine shield taunt which isn't bad.
I would prefer a 4/5 minion with divine shield and taunt (ancient watcher) or having played shielded minibot, attacked a minion (usually killing it) and then give him divine shield again (and taunt from coghammer).
Another garbage inspire card what a surprise. This thing can't even attack unless you hero power and it only gets one more health?! What trash.
I can't remotely imagine seeing this in constructed. In arena, it miiiiiight be an okay pick but that's being generous. If this was a 2/5, it would be alright but as a 2/4, it's garbage.
Look at the bright side- Piloted Shredder just got slightly worse again.
I wouldn't say again. Piloted Shredder has been getting plenty of good stuff from this expansion. Look at Totem Golem, Garrison Commander, and Fallen Hero. All very solid 2-drops by the looks of them.
and why wouldn't I just play a Ancient Watcher? The reason I play AW is for the stats when combined with silence or taunt... - and he has the same mana cost, so now I'm looking at the possibility of attacking with him once in a while? meh. I'll stick to Ancient Watcher
Not as bad as people think. That +1 can make a lot of difference. You can trade effectively with majority of 3 drops if you're a Druid or a Mage, and this card is above average IMO.

It just needs one more stat to be good. Hell, it could be a 2/6 and I wouldn't really bat an eye.
I know all sets are going to have bad cards, but aren't these pre-release reveals supposed to be the exciting cards? These feel like the sort of filler cards we should be getting in the last 60 or so cards revealed all at once.

I very much so remember seeing someone speculate about this exact card, but for 1 mana instead of 2 mana. Unfortunately, I don't even know if people would play this over zombie chow at 1 mana.

There are better 2/3 and 3/2 drops for 2 mana. The extra point of toughness just isn't worth the trade-off. Might be an okay pick for Arena.
Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
I will say this again.
Argent Watchman should be 1 mana.

1.5/5
Then it would be op with 2/4 stats.
Confirmed that it does not get Charge.

No. That's why it is worded so weirdly. "Can attack as normal."
@Halfast: no no and no
Seems super weak. Would be more interesting if it was 4/2. Easier to clear, but also much more dangerous.
As it is it seems useless. Maybe average in arena, but not good.
Way too much crap cards in expansion. There weren't so many useless cards in GvG.
No.

The only time this might be viable is probably as a paladin turn 1 coin him out, turn 2 hero power, turn 3 muster? Maybe in a controlish deck.
Built-in tempo loss. Wow!
Finally, a nerf to Piloted Shredder.
Well... I guess we'll have to see where they'll be taking his card.
Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.
Should cost 1 so you can attack with it on turn 2. Playing this card effs up your curve on turn 3.
