In my opinion, and let us remember this is only my OPINION, you only lose 2 in attack stats and gain the ability to not lose your entire deck.
But Fel reaver is a win condition in itself. This is not. Dont get me wrong I really like this card, its very good. But not good enough to win games by itself.
You don't care about losing your deck if you already have what you need to kill your opponent. Fel Reaver is so big that it dodges a lot of removal and it enters the field before your opponent has BGH (probably) - people rarely keep BGH in their starting hand, so it takes advantage of that.
I don't quite agree. 6/6 worth of stats isn't necessarily much easier to remove than an 8/8. There are very few cards which (1) kill a 5/5 on a one card basis (2) but don't kill an 8/8. Fireball, Lava Burst, a lucky Crackle, or an unlucky Shield Slam are the only common ones I can think of, and that still leaves the +1/+1 on the other Mech. Shadow Word Death, Soul Siphon, Hex, Hunter's Mark, Execute all trade equally well with FR and CK. I mean, even something like Swipe + Hero Power isn't that much of a disadvantage to the Clockwork Knight player, since your opponent spent an entire turn to add nothing to the board and take 4 damage to the face. It removes the CK, but it can easily still be a losing play against an aggressive mech deck.
The other side is that BGH will wreck a Fel Reaver far worse than a Fireball will a Clockwork Knight. The lower cost vs other removal options, plus an extra body on the board to kill a second minion. That can be game-ending. And it isn't necessarily true that folks don't keep BGH. If I knew I was playing against a Mech shaman, I'd probably keep a BGH in my hand, because it's such a huge play against an early FR. That's what Lifecoach did against Kibler in the Archon Team League last week. Kept the BGH to counter the inevitable Reaver, and it could have been the game-winning decision. However, Kibler made the right read, didn't coin out his Fel Reaver and won. It'll depend on the metagame at the time, but with strong handlock, and mech shaman being the best archetype, I'd strongly consider Clockwork Knight. At very least, it ought to be tested extensively.
Has synergy, good stats and an awesome art (golden will be even better!). I like it. And as said before - we didn't have a solid mech 5-drop. Maybe it's still better to play Loatheb in mech decks to protect your allies, but it's worth experimenting.
The dream is to play this on turn 4 with a Mechwarper and follow with Loatheb on turn 5
I think it's average.. maybe worse than average. It's 5 mana 5/5 which is nothing impressive even after getting +1/+1. 5 mana spot is already crowded with better cards like loatheb, sludge, healbot and azure drake etc. This wouldn't even work in mech mage because mech mage plays cheap mechs not expensive 5 mana ones.

Powercreep when this card is weaker than Upgraded Repair Bot? (As it should be, class card vs neutral)
Huh?
Nobody mentioned Mechwarper. Strange.
This card looks great in mech mage(not a good thing)
Top 5 Legend every season. Twitch.tv/vbsof
what in particular about this card screams "fast" to you?
Why would this replace Fel reaver?

Great addition to the mech decks. Gotta be pretty troublesome against mech`s. :D
A more expensive only mech Shattered Sun Cleric.
It isnt bad, from the top of my head i dont think mechs had something to play on turn 5 aside the hellbot! Well now they do :D
I like the art too, cute mech gnome!
How it is a power creep when Upgraded Repair Bot is actually a better card? Class specific card, but better card.
5 mana, 6/6 in mech decks. I'd say it's wayyyyy powerful.
This is nice and all BUT WHERE ARE MY VALKYR LEGENDARY REVEALS?!
Mechanical Yeti is something that people are cutting off duo to possible freze spare part, kept for Fel Reaver.
Fair 5 mana common mech. Way better then alot of the rubbish they released so far.
At least people that won't get 100 packs right off the bat may have some new card to experiment with instead of pack-filling garbage.
My comments refer mostly to the wild format.

This card is average and reminds me of Shieldmaiden a lot, we'll have to see.
This doesn't really fit in the mech deck archetype, unless we see more mechs and there's a shift to a mid-range mech build.
The dream is to play this on turn 4 with a Mechwarper and follow with Loatheb on turn 5
I hate RNG
This looks like it could fit in many mech decks for sure (well at least mine).
RIP yogg-saron good things don't last forever :(
Cool! midrange mech decks would be really fun to play, it's a really solid card. I could see this in a mech priest.
