Hey , I have a question , I have enough dust for 1 legendary, but I don't really know what it should be . I think I should get Cairne Bloodhoof or Lord Jaraxxus , as my most played class is Warlock and I play mostly Midrange-Control decks. I already have the most important legendaries , like Ragnaros , Sylvanas , N'zoth and all LoE legendaries, Loatheb , Emperor Thaurissan , but I don't know what to get next.
Lord Jaraxxus hasn't found his place yet since WoG release and he(he?) isn't neutral, so yeah, that's all.
Cairne, probably. Jaraxus is an amazing card in Reno, but reno itself hasn't been doing well due to Zoo, Shaman and Tempo mage out there. I suppose Tempo Warrior is an issue too. Cairne is in one of those decks, and also NZoth decks, while Jaraxus is currently restrained to Reno, except the most optimal lists don't run him anymore, turning to Alextrazza + Leeroy combo instead. Jaraxus is also great vs Warriors in general, which is a Pro, but also great vs Priest, except those don't exist anymore.
All in all it goes to taste, if youre a Renolock guy, go for Jaraxus. Cairne is currently played only in a few decks as well.
So I have enough dust for another Legendary. (I picked up Leeroy on my last one, thanks for the advice guys, I've been loving him, especially now that my Miracle deck doesn't suck anymore.)
My considerations are Cenarius, King Krush, Dreadscale, Eadric the Pure, Vol'Jin, Xaril, Mal'Ganis, Bloodmage Thalnos, Nexus Champion Saraad, Cairne Bloodhoof, Baron Geddon, Chillmaw, Icehowl, Malygos, Ysera, and both versions of Deathwing.
And the ones that I want the most are probably Xaril, Mal'Ganis, Thalnos, Nexus Champ (sort of for funsies) Baron, Icehowl (mostly for funsies, but I think he could be really good in the right Priest deck), and Ysera. But sometimes what we want isn't always what's best, right? ;)
A couple things: I play a lot of stuff, but I generally enjoy Tempo, Combo, and Control the most, basically in that order. Yes, I know Mal'Ganis and Vol'Jin are Wild format only. No, I don't care *all that much*-- Wild is a good format. Seriously, try it sometime if you've got good cards for it. Anyway, since those two are Wild only, they're also the only ones that I have 0% chance of unpacking ever. Oh, and I also don't give *that much* weight to cards being Neutral. The really good class-specific Legendaries tend to be some of the strongest cards in the game, if y'all hadn't noticed. So please don't be like "Well, Cairne goes in the most number of decks out of all these cards, so get him, open and shut case." I mean, technically, yeah you're right, but he's also the most vanilla of all these cards.
I kind of never want to craft Cairne, because I used to own him and dusted him before Standard was announced, back when he was just a mediocre card. Thalnos is kind of one of those cards I would love to open from a pack, but it's also sort of low on my crafting list just because its effect is so subtle and un-splashy.

You are quite limiting yourself in regards to options with those cards. Cenarius is only used in 1 or 2 druid decks and those require a lot of big cards + fandral to work. Xaril poisoned mind is kind of a slow card, only really fits in nzoth rogue which isn't that favored. Baron Geddon is mostly only seen in control warrior and Ysera has fallen quite out of the meta too, though ysera is an extremely strong card in the right deck/situation such as ramp druid or control warrior.
I really like rogue and tempo mage so I would take thalnos out of your selection, but he isn't that exciting
The thing is I probably already have most of the other things you would recommend to me. I suppose I could always save the dust and get whatever the next chase legendary is whenever the next expansion comes out.
It really depends on what you like to play but from a general perspective i would say Harrison Jones (in a weapon heavy meta nice tech card). Cairne Bloodhoof is really slow and wasn't played for a long time and i now rarely see him on ladder. Bloodmage Thalnos and Edwin VanCleef are both really good if you want to play rogue but i think Bloodmage Thalnos is more versatile if you are planning to play other decks like freeze mage in the future.
I'm missing only these legendaries and can craft ONE right now.
Grommash Hellscream -> good enough to craft class legendary? Varian Wrynn -> personally love the card. But is it good in game?
Harrison Jones -> still not convinced why this card is so highly praised. Cairne Bloodhoof -> guess I can run 'another' deathrattle card instead?
Chillmaw -> one of my favorite. But sadly see it only 1 in 100 games. Guess it's not enough? Ysera -> last time I went and crafted Ragnaros the Firelord instead of this. No regrets as I played have Ragnaros the Firelord in every single deck of mine, and it fits well too.
So, which one to craft now? I'm leaning towards Grommash Hellscream and finally be done with all important/must have class legendaries.
I play both control and aggro Warrior. But I like control more. I'm F2P player and collecting 1600 takes long-long time. So, is it worth investing in class card?
Thank you.

Betrayer... In truth, it was I who was betrayed. Still, I am hunted. Still, I am hated. Now, my blind eyes see what others cannot: that sometimes the hand of fate must be forced! Now go forth... unleash the tides of Doom... Upon all those...who would oppose us.
I have a sizeable collection and am largely focusing on tournaments. Looking at 3200 dust and a couple possibly decent tournament deck options that are out of my reach and leave me less flexible to countering the meta. I'll list my top three crafting considerations and the decks they'll help fill. Open to thoughts on which to prioritize.
1. Alexstrasza. Needed for Freeze Mage, and useful for some iterations of Control Warrior and Renolock which fade in and out of the meta.
2. Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. Would be included for Tempo Mage and Token Druid, both of which can be powerful against certain metas and lineups.
3. Fandral Staghelm. Almost seems necessary to the power level of any Druid deck.
Both are worth it. Thalnos is just overall a good utility card and staple on several Rogue and Mage deck. He may not be as flashy but it's a consistent card. He does what you need him to do. Yogg is fun but a bit situational. Times were he did something significant when dropped for the sake of playing him is a bit rare. Most of my games are won without him. Most of the time he is a "desparation" play where you know you're about to lose next turn and just drop him and pray for something big to happen.
Both cards are worth crafting so it would be up to you and your collection. If you want consistency go for Thalnos. Yogg is super fun card and is worth it for the entertainment value and epic moments..

Thalnos is not flashy but he always seen play since the beginning. I'd still favor Thalnos out of most of the cards on your to craft list. If you're playing rogue Thalnos is better than Xaril, Thalnos is the true rogue legendary, has seen play more than every rogue class legendary in the game. Cenarius and Ysera are good but a bit slow and they aren't crucial pieces, also outshined by a couple of the Old Gods. Malganis is the one that's arguably better than Thalnos but its on wild. Probably much better now because of the BGH and Owl nerf (Voidwalker setups). Geddon is a good CW tech card, has been in and out of meta has seen less play now because warriors has gained good cheap efficient spells/removal and aoe. Id put him on "I would love to get on the pack" instead of Thalnos.

Alexstraza, without any doupt.
But seriously tho... You're aiming at playing tournaments with those decks, yet you obviously have never played those decks since you don't even own all the cards? You need to play hundreds of games with any deck before you bring it to a tournament, which is especially true for freeze mage.
That's pretty much the same as saying 'I'm going to play in a chess tournament, but so far I've only played with half a board since I don't own all 16 pieces yet'.

I appreciate the recommendation. I agree these will take practice in order to be tournament ready, which means I'll need to have access to them and get practicing if I want to have the flexibility of working them into my tournament lineup. And as a tournament chess player, I like chess analogies, so I'll continue. It's a lot like adding a new, highly complex opening to my repertoire. I had to start somewhere when I wanted to start playing the Najdorf or the Modern Benoni. Thankfully, we're also living in a time with greater access to information and ability to review top players, which allows us to shorten the learning time ever so slightly on our way to proficiency if we're willing to put the work into it. Hope to see you at an event sometime.
Hey guys, I already have a sizeable collection, but still missing a few playable legendaries. The last one I crafted was Fandral Staghelm. I'll soon have 1600 dust once again and am now already thinking about which one I should craft next. I'll list my top 3 (to 5) crafting considerations here and maybe you can help me to decide on which to prioritize.
1. Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. Seen him in many decks lately so despite the rng effect he seems to be working quite effectively. Together with N'Zoth in my top 2 atm.
2. N'Zoth, the Corruptor. I always wanted to play some N'Zoth decks but lately they dont seem to be that strong anymore in the current meta. So atm Im tending a bit more to craft Yogg.
3. Xaril, Poisoned Mind. Will have to craft this one sooner or later since I wanna play rogue every now n then and this card seems to be working quite well in most current playable rogue decks.
4. Cairne Bloodhoof/Varian Wrynn. Kinda would have to craft both for the tempo warrior and similar decks but still thinking about Cairne alone, even though it probably would make more sense to craft N'Zoth first.
All of them are craft worthy.
Yogg maybe RNG dependent but he allows you to be more liberal with your spells/removal. Having him means you have a potential "get out of jail" card. Getting a bit of value with your spells means that you don't have to be too stingy with them.
N'zoth IMO is the strongest Old God. Best with control classes like Paladin or Priest but the deck are pretty expensive.
Cairne/Varian are important pieces on Tempo Warrior. Cairne is a much better craft because he is a neutral and used on other decks. But Tempo Warrior is significantly weaker without Varian.
Xaril is a nice rogue card but is not a crucial piece. Only worth crafting if you have all of the important legendaries. You can get him from journey below, if you are rocking N'zoth Rogue, or you can substitute Violet teacher on Miracle Rogue deck. If you have Bloodmage and Edwin and 2 Preps then you're good to go as rogue.
Hey, could use some help. Just pulled a golden Leeroy Jenkins but I dislike playing Aggro so don't think I will hang on to it. I only have the LoE Legendaries, Sylvanas Windrunner and The Beast.
I play mostly control Priest, tempo Warrior and Midrange Hunter type decks, and I am a few gold away from unlocking the last wing of Blackrock Mountain so planning to incorporate some Dragon. However I thought it might be better to get some staple neutral classic legendaries good for control since I have basically nothing.
Chillmaw: The clear "value" outlier of this group, really just a card that I've been wishing i could stick into my current decks. I've been experimenting with unorthodox N'zoth decks since I crafted N'zoth, and also feel that he's a must pair card with my Deathwing Dragonlord. A key factor in this would be how long TGT cards are likely to stay in standard. Does anyone have a timetable on that?
Regarding me personally, I LOVE to theorycraft, but almost always need to netdeck for my final season push to make it to the higher ranks to gain rewards as I'm mostly a F2P player. Druid, Shaman, Warrior, and Paladin are my favorite classes. Taking this into account what does the community recommend I craft?
The most flexible one that you can use in multiple decks is Bloodmage Thalnos, but usually in Mage, Rogue, and sometimes Druid. Not your favorite classes, unless you want to run a spell druid deck. Chillmaw is nice but not necessary. Fandral has become a staple in most Druid decks, so I would pick between him and Grommash, depending on which class you want to play more. These are the ones you'll see the most in Druid and Warrior netdecks.

Yeah Leeroy Jenkins is a keeper. I'd rather DE The Beast and save dust for a legendary. Unless you desperately need a specific legendary I wouldn't recommend dusting him. He is not used exclusively on Aggro. Also a finisher in other control/tempo decks like Renolock, Miracle Rogue. Great finisher for Zoolock, I know this is an aggro deck, but its cheap and can be played on high ladder. It can be handy to have decks that's competetive on higher levels. Zoo plays controlly for an aggro deck too so you might want to give it a try.
Long term, I think it's better to hold on to him. I'd value Leeroy more than the Legendaries on your list (exept for Ragnaros the Firelord). The legendaries you mentioned are the type of legendary you build around and almost exclusively sees play on their respective niche decks. Alexstraza and Ysera are a bit slow and they arent that good outside of their decks. Raggy is pretty much a good all arounder for slower decks. I guess you can dust him for Rag but keep in mind that Leeroy is quite valuable and will stay relevant because he is one of the best finishers since WotOG nerfs.
So I have enough dust for another Legendary. (I picked up Leeroy on my last one, thanks for the advice guys, I've been loving him, especially now that my Miracle deck doesn't suck anymore.)

The classic tier: Reno Jackson | Elise Starseeker | Brann Bronzebeard.

After some research I am between Alextrasza , Ysera and Ragnaros the Firelord. Any advice on which of these are most useful in the meta?
Currently approaching 1600 dust AGAIN, and I'm torn between several Legendaries and would like some advice:
Bloodmage Thalnos OR Malygos: I like the spell damage archetype and would appreciate both of these cards
Fandral Staghelm OR Grommash Hellscream : The only two class specific legandaries I feel that I've been missing.
Chillmaw: The clear "value" outlier of this group, really just a card that I've been wishing i could stick into my current decks. I've been experimenting with unorthodox N'zoth decks since I crafted N'zoth, and also feel that he's a must pair card with my Deathwing Dragonlord. help pls, i have ysera, the black knigth, malygos and capitan greenskin, should i disenchant it? thx for help :)
Edit: also i have both adventures and disenchanted majordomo
If you need dust right now, disenchant captain greenskin, he's the only bad card in your list.
