Sad thing, instead boosting mid-range or mech shaman, they are stubborn on trying to make totem shaman playable. And for now I'm gonna call failure on it.
Of course a full-on totem deck will be a failure But that's no different from every other tribe (except mechs). However, it isn't hard to imagine shaman using some of the new totem synergy cards in a midrange decklist.
it will spawn a totem, since you need to hero power for its ability to trigger. That means that if you already have 4 totems you cant even trigger the ability.
This card definitely has potential, Shaman always had difficulty punishing slower decks without overextending the board, now with this Controlish decks may be more threatened by Hero Power alone. Not a Quartermaster, but I'll test it for sure.
It's exciting to me as a shaman player to see the hero power potentially made more powerful, but I don't expect to see a full 'totem' deck. I have a pirate deck and it's fun but it doesn't win reliably past rank 15 or so. Point being, I don't forsee any decks seriously running totemic might, haha.
The hope would be that the "good ones" of these new totem/inspire cards could be mixed into whatever the FotM decks are the next few months and hopefully make shaman a little better off competitively.
Very interesting card but I don't think it's good enough to make into constructed.
For this to be useful, you need to have totems at turn 7+ or this have to survive for a turn. Granted, a 3/6 stats may actually survive a turn but your opponent can also kill your totem if he can't kill this. If you do have some totems on board, you can play Flametongue Totem to have similar or better (works on non-totem minions) effect.
I think the text has to be battlecry for this card to be actually useful in constructed.
Depends on the scenario but this card is outright broken in certain situations, just like Grim Patron. If you can't get this minion removed it will spiral out of control and you just lose the game.
It will be less good in constructed when your opponent is more likely to have a instant answer/removal but in Arena or when your opponent is low on cards this card will just win you the game because of the value trading the totems will supply. 100% instant pick in Arena.

Are you... serious ?
Um, yes. I love Shaman and unlike others I want it to stop being gimmick. Opting so hard for totems synergy doesn't appeal to me at all and in so powercreeped meta I can't hardly imagine it working.
If you want totems to stop being "gimmick", then you need good totem cards/synergy. Your post doesn't make any sense. The only way for totems to remain gimmick is exactly to buff mech/midrange.
Jesus, can't you really ready? I want Shaman to get better, not totems and gimmick fun decks, which will never see competitive play. Good universal Shaman cards like Golem are what I seek for, not gimmicky totem synergizes which will have no use outisde fun decks.
What a sad spirit to have in a silly card game. What do you care, really? If Totem decks work out, you'll be netdecking them here soon enough. And if there is another deck even slightly stronger, you will netdeck that one instead. You are right, the cards are for fun gimmicky decks not for skilled MechShaman players such as yourself.
Discuss!
You can find me here! Good luck everyone!
Ah... I missed something : What's Inspire's meaning?
OH my goodness gracious lord.
Totemic Might decks are going to be soooo sick!!! Totems are actually bodies now.
Check here for my new cards!Pokemon HS class! All the Pokemon as HS cards!
To me THIS is the most interesting card shown so far!
Go ahead...hehe...
...nya...
...hmm...make my day.

Its overcosted... its 7 mana effectively and the totem it spawns that turn cant attack.
It doesn't spawn a totem. Its effect is just a mini-Bloodlust for totems.

I wonder if you can still get "inspire" if you already have all four totems on the board...
Honestly with a new Totem meta (looking forward to it), that would make or break this card.
Great card and I remind you, this is not a single time effect you can repeat it next turn if he survives.
Its a bit slow for constructed but it could get some shine in arena where you want to take full advantage of your hero power whenever you can.
Oh man! Didn't realize the buff is permanent!

Considering that you can almost always sack the 1/1, I wouldn't worry about it.

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
too high cost, too situative. might be ok in arena
Now all we need is Dr. Totem: a 7 mana 7/7 totem that summons 2 boom totems.

Ilove Shamman but I didnt like this card. I really hope to be wrong on this one
