Even this card has a low mana cost I don't think it will be very effective due to it's low health. It's a very easy target. But the new meta can wrong me.
That's great for tempo mages to play turn 2 and hope it lives a turn so they can kill your small minions. It can also be played late game to kill a 3/2 or 4/3 with two of them. Mages are going to have to remove flamecannon, frostbolt or unstable portal to make room though.
It's a okay card like Steamwheedle Sniper and suffers the same problem. I think Fallen Hero have trouble find a room in existing Mage deck archetypes. It's not a tempo card because 2 mana for 2 damage is worse than typical 2 mana removal spell (3 damage). It does save a card but tempo decks rely on efficient minions and spells at cost of hand size...so it probably won't be in tempo Mage deck. It won't find a room in Mech Mage for the same reason...and it's not a mech. It won't be in Freeze Mage because it doesn't fit the overall deck scheme. I can see it make into Duplicate/Echo Grinder mage but they are less common because the skill cap. ...maybe if the meta become slower...and hope it will become slower...
Its interesting, IDK if Tempo Mage can afford the slots. Apprentice is a must w/ all the spells, so if you wanted this in, you'd have to cut Flamecannons or Frostbolts, which seems bad. This might need its own Inspire deck to really shine.
It's a good card, could work for decks like tempo or freeze mage maybe but it competes slots with Sorcerer's Apprentice. Its far from a bad card. We could possibly see this card in high level play.
I think Fallen Hero will see play more than Steamwheedle Sniper, the reason why Steamwheadle doesn't see play is that its a control card on class not ideal for control playstyle and Hunters have better options in picking off minions like weapons and traps making its unique ability a bit usless. I'd rate fallen hero above steemwheadle because their ability stacks, mage have bit better control potential, it can also be e used on aggro. It just makes the mage's ability a bit more potent.
Looks like a typical "good on paper" card. Don't see this card be played much. It has way less impact than Sorcerer Apprentice and can also easily be removed -> which means the ability just gives you 1 extra damage (afterwards this guy is dead) in most cases. Yes you could combo it with the other new hero ability cards but well.. Doesn't sound strong enough

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?

Seems more like an anti aggro tech for combo based decks honestly. Most minions in aggro decks don't have three life early in a game, so a two damage ping will do the trick and doesn't use the second card affording you more burn in hand. It also has a place in inspire and machine gun mage if those ever become a thing (at least one should stick I'm thinking).
Confirmation that it affects both Warlock and Hunter Hero Powers
Haha, so Mage can have the best results out of it. Nice. Despite Shadowform and yes i know it can come from shredder but as said now, almost noone will have nice use out of it unless you are Mage yourself! BAM suckers

strong, but very squishy. wont do much outside of some combo turns with dragon.
Absolutely 100% false just like all of your posts...This card is almost a guaranteed 2 for 1 in most situations.

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
Good card. As if tempo mage needed more help /sarcasm

This is a fine, mid-powered card most of the time ... but if it's coined out on turn 1, it's absolutely a monster.
Which might be fine, if Mage didn't already have several strong ways to seize tempo in the first couple turns of the game.
Ugh. I dread playing Mages after TGT. Hopefully my instincts are wrong, like when I thought Priest would be the dominant class after GvG.
It works with hunter and warlock, (and shadowformed priest) not druid.

So the hype when Steamwheedle was announced was.... insane
Hype for this is ridiculous as well....

Like mage needed more early game dominance..this card is really good.. it's premium removal bait, it's a huge snowball minion
