i added a mct and i raised my wins vs mech mage and zoo ( im playing druid). so isnt this card a bit underrated? cause you know it shifts games for example i play vs a mech mage which is more midrange-control than aggro he has 4 minions on the field including a belcher i mct steal his belcher and play my own belcher on top. how is that not OP? or in a game vs a zoo he has 4 minions on the board 1 of them was floating watcher 6/6 buffed. i play mct and steal the watcher and practically i won the game there. i just added him yesterday and it works wonders for me. im surprised why druid builds dont include him.
It's fairly easy to play around, and fairly RNGesus reliant. If it's a point where they have 4 good minions to steal....most likely you have lost so much board control you are screwed. However, I roll an MCT in my paly deck and in priest.... then again I sacrifice a small goat to RNGesus daily.
No. The chances of multiple high value targets to MCT is minimal, and you are losing too badly to have to use it, and if you do include it in your deck you are more prone to mistakes in order to use MCT.

Mechs will not be nerfed until the next expansion. Calling it because you need to keep the wallets happy too.
It's an anti-Dr Boom card. If they play Dr Boom while they already have a minion out, then you can use MCT. This might not be frequent enough to warrent using MCT.
Its cute when it works in your favour, but in reality, it will not save u most of the time, thus this card is not consistend enought, doesnt have enought value to "waste" a deck slot ;-)
I will add that when you steal the one good thing they have [especially if your odds are like 14-16% (6 or 7 minions out)] having them add you and cry about RNG makes this card totally worth it ;D
It is bad against a token-ish decks like zoo and against face hunter it makes the same difference as a 3 mana deal 1 damage. Against a deck like Mech Mage where most of the bodies are actual cards it tends to be pretty good.
If you look closely, you can see this is a signature and not a comment. Why are you reading? Stop reading this. Did you read this too? Dang you must like reading.
In the meantime you have to put up with drastic loss against Priest, Druid, Warrior, Rogue and even sophisticatedly, Hunter. At best it's only a half-useful card. And given that Shaman is out of the picture, it's still bad.
And one problem to another, if you had that luck to make mct worth its while, I suggest spending the luck on Blackjack games.
I think Blizzard did most things RNG right, but I don't like MCT. The variance of its effect is HUGE. Often best case you get like a 5/5 or better and worst case a 1/1 token and remove it from your opponent's side as well. The chances to either outcome is 1/4 or 1/5. It single handedly can win you games by a coin toss. That's just "bad" RNG.
Compare it to Piloted Shredder: It, as well, can give you a 1/1 or a 4/4 - but both cases are pretty rare. Most of the time it's about a 2/2. That's fine. It fucks up you or your opponent only ~5% of the time and not ~50% of the time like MCT does.
Its suprising how many mech mages let themselves hit 4+ minions even around R5. There is always 1 MCT in my priest, its just a give in. Nearly every game i play it will steal something and only a few times ever has it been a 3/3 for 3 mana drop to have some presence vs control. The potential swing value is too good to pass on imo, even if its RNG heavy. Nothing more satisfying than seeing the opponent squirm when it really hits them where it hurts.
EDIT: not to mention that when this card drops onto the board, stealing something or not. The opponent then believes you may have two copies and you literally limit their board reach beyond 3 minions. The real mind games <3

I obviously can't know if they are trying to play around a possible second copy, but after thier first 4 minion mistake they are sure not to make it twice... Imagine 2x steal??? Lel.
I Hate the Card. It punishes you for being on the lead because of good playing before. Then the Opponent Drops this, magicaly almost always steals your best minion and is proud of his "skill". It's one of the most unfair Feeling Cards in the game for me and i conceded often cause i simply refused to Play against such a ****.
I'm guessing you also don't like priests.

no one is playing around mct cause no one is expecting him these days. in my ranked games i see ppl do the most stupid mistakes you can imagine and you think they have the brains to play around mct? lol i stole an ysera today i also stole an imp gang boss and turned the game vs a zoo. worst case you drop him as a 3/3 but i just dont understand why doesnt every druid deck play him since druid can get behind on board pretty easily. im not talking about other classes just druid. and btw mech mage is far from dead in ranks 12-10 i face them a lot and they are a very hard matchup for druid, mct against mech mage works wonders. i stole spider tank and shredder today.

3 mana boom bot is overpowered
No, I'm pretty sure it's rated correctly. It's a tech card, mainly worth it in druid in the correct meta.
Getting a 1/1 with MCT is fine. Anything else is better, sure, but it's 3 mana for a 3/3, a 1/1, and destroying a 1/1 on the opponent's side.
It's a good card, but obviously very meta-dependent and easy for some classes to play around.

i'm usually stealing paladins-recruits 1-1. And my Rangros usually targets them. RNG hates me.
Rant incoming.

I wouldn't mind it being removed completely.

the problem with the card is its either ur super behind or its those aggro type that dont trade to trigger his effect.
it might steal something good and have gain back momentum but in higher ranks of play they usually trade and u wont get much value out of him.
i hate this gnome i feel like random is missing in his card text when my opponent use him.
YES?
I agree with the first part... but Doomsayer in Piloted Shredder is the dumbest RNG of all.

I'd say it's pretty good if you already have a board and can trade for the other 3+ minions with your board. Otherwise it's too reactive imo.
