I just pulled my first Legendary in a while (Greenskin) and wanted to know if I should hold onto him or not, so I came here! Any help would be appreciated

I think you should never disenchant legendaries that have at least some use (competitive, fun...)
I'd like to have Greenskin to try out some stuff with Pally - but what are your preferences and the state of your collection, maybe you don't play weapon classes at all, maybe you really need a better legendary?
I wouldn't say it's a terrible card like millhouse or hemet to be DE'd immediately :)
For shit and giggles I'm trying him in a Shockadin, and he's working, this should never happen

Greenskin will always be somewhat viable if there ever is a viable pirate archetype or if there is a weapon being released that heavily benefits from him.
I mean, he is situational, but he is not bad. It is a legendary you should generally keep.
This guy is actually amazing in Shockadin, 2/5 Light's Justice? 5/3 Truesilver? Thanks!

I received greenskin and sky cap'n Kragg from back to back packs, I attempted to build a pirate rogue deck but I don't have any sea captains, or shady dealers (and I couldn't justify crafting them when there are so many other more versatile cards I need) I ended up DEing both of them towards crafting Tirion, and Dr. Boom.

A few months ago I was running Greenskin sometimes in a control warrior deck, alternating him with Jones. He was pretty good, nice to drop when they're thinking your Death's Bite is about to expire, he can mess with the opponent's head as well as providing weapon bonuses.
With these type of threads created daily, the best personal answer you'll get is just trying the Legendary Card out yourself and see if you find it intriguing rather than 'is this a qualified card?'
I have a sneaky feeling that one of these days Pirate decks are going to be viable. Blizzard keeps adding cards that revive older archetypes. For example, Paladin secrets were once mostly shunned. And Merfolk never were quite good enough. Now both are a part of some reasonably strong decks. If you're desperate for the dust then go for it; but otherwise I'd keep the Captain.

Since it's your first legendary, you should keep it, if you don't care about that, you can safely disenchant it, but I'd keep it if anything..
mfw his Yogg steals my win

You can't stop the signal.
If it's golden, DE it. If it's not, then gather some dust and DE it for some extra 400 in order to make something cool.

Not unless you need the dust. Captain Greenskin is one of those "bubbling under" Legendaries that may become competitive, someday.

Why the sudden necro post?
