He requires you to actually have a hand for that so you actually need to save cards, saving cards= losing tempo, by turn 6 an aggro deck should've won and control decks well we will see.
Why not see what happens in the meta first? With Naxx Kel'Thuzad was thought to be broken OP and he still rarely sees play. Emperor does look good, but unless your class has great draw potential, by late game when you can drop him your hand might be pretty small to get enough value.

Anything thats been nerfed is considered broken; thus is why it was nerfed to fix the game.
How is this not broken? Play Emperor with Prophet Velens chosen (the spell damage thing) in hand, 2 mindblasts, and 2 Holy smites. Thats 28 damage on turn 8.
Not mentioning if you have velen with that combo; on turn 10 that equals 36 damage.
Things like this is insane. I guess we all play warrior so we can build armor to prevent OTK. lol
This is just stupid. There is already a warrior wombo combo otk deck and rogues could theoretically deal 30 damage in one turn too, but those things hardly ever happen, so why would they happen now that there's a card that you might not even draw?
Hardly broken when you need so many cards for it to be effective. I personally can't wait for the card, imagine ramp druids! turn 6 emperor, turn 7 combo. friggggggg ya

Because the potential number of OTK combos increases exponentially due to this card. Rogues in particular are going to have a field day with this. Historically the class seems to take a while to find the "optimal" solution after a new set of cards is released, but when they do, we get something like Miracle or Oil. Emperor scares the manure out of me from this point. Emperor -> Chromaggus + Prep/Sprint? The rogue gets a quarter of his deck in one shot, and a 6/8 to boot. Malygos + cheap Cold Bloods, etc? Gaah, the possibilities are endless. It is only a question of which works best.
You can't be serious. Yes, the card looks pretty damn good but c'mon, let's see how the meta evolves. We don't even know if this thing will be useful, it's HS, anything can happen. It's absurd that people now want cards to be nerfed even before they are released...god...
You know what hearthpwn needs, a downvote button. Here we have a petition to nerf a card that hasn't even seen play yet, how ridiculous. This is why the game designers don't take the HS community seriously.
I still remember when people said Belcher and Shieldmaiden were bad and Spectral Knight and Troggzor were freaking OP...
Think of these things before judging a meta (and I'm also quite scared aboutthis card's potential, but let's be honest, until testing it on the field we can't say anything).
Thaurissan is strong, but far from OP: It is a EXTREME SLOW CARD. On turn 6 you want to have cards that have board presence, are sticky or an immediate effect. Thaurissan is none of them. He is strong if you have a large Hand, and the perfect mana curve after he used his ability. But still he isn't as op: if you play him on turn 6 and you have Boom in Hand; would you not play him only because you want to have a better mana curve? Or do you put him down and have 1 mana crystal that you might not even use.
So yes he is strong, but broken? No, no no no no no no no no no no no no nooooooo. The only deck that can be maybe ridiculous is if you play him on Turn 1 as a druid; complete disaster; althrough still facehunter will then wreck you.

I believe Thaurissan has an immediate effect. Yes it requires cards in hand, but he wouldn't be played unless the deck type is one with 4-9 cards in hand during turn 6. I'm not going to let my opponent have cheaper cards, so you have to remove him or else you will be in a world of hurt.
As for the the thread, it's pretty ignorant to ask for a nerf before the card is even playable.

Yeah this card enables a combo that requires you to have 6 very specific cards in hand at turn 10! Clearly broken.
Omg..im shaking my head so hard right now I think its going to fall off my shoulders...please, PLEASE let this be a troll thread and not and actual petition to nerf something that hasnt been published/tested or actually used yet... C'mon guys, we should be better than this...
This card is insane. It seems almost like old Nat Pagle, whoever draws it first has too much of a headstart.
So many OTK combos are possible:
Prophet Velen Mindblast priest
Malygos Rogue
Ancestral Call Maylgos Shaman
etc.

Denied on account of this card has not even been played yet and though it is extremely OP is not broken.
Let's get salty!

This card allows higher mana cards suck less.

It's too early to be making petition threads...

Come - the fuck - on. Do I even have to say anything? Please close this thread or I'll get myself another warning.
Ridiculous thread. May it rest on the bottom of the abyss.

OMG, you are now talking about nerfs of cards that you haven't played or see played yet, lol. Failfish.
P.S. I think is OP, but we have to see it first.
the card's overrated, can confirm

If you think these combos are so fantastic then run them yourself and cruise to #1 legend instead of crying about it
