To me this looks like a way for druids to bridge the gap while ramping to deal with aggro decks/face hunters etc. Coin+wild growth turn 1 and turn 2 play this as a 2/5? Sounds pretty good to me. Even coining it on turn 2 is great. Dont know what purpose a 5/2 would serve though. Too easy to remove to almost any mass removal in the game.

Druid was the single strongest and most versatile class in HS anyways (concearning tournaments), so I guess Blizzard just tried really hard not to make them OP.
Yeah, I think they're just trying to weaken the Druid card pool even further. I mean, what could they actually give us to make us not insane? No good cards for 3 expansions and still one of the best decks around.
Since you will rarely play this as a 5/2 (Magma Rager?), a 3 mana 2/5 body is comparable to Grove Tender, 3 mana 2/4 with somewhat useful effects. Grove Tender is not being played, why will this be a thing?
Am I the only person that sorta likes this card? Everyone seems really disappointed but this card is significantly better than any class card druid got in GvG. I think a 3 mana 2/5 will be playable in a taunt style anti aggro ramp druid because the 3 drop slot there is basically just a wall of tech cards or cards that don't fit the strategy (BGH, MCT, Shade which I don't think is appropriate in a 0 combo ramp druid). I also think magma rager mode will still be usable in certain circumstances where you are planning to trade up into a yeti/senjin type 4 drop or a hungry dragon/ Blackwing Technician.
The other thing to consider is that with Wild Growth and Innervate being cards every good generalist neutral card that comes out will only make mid range and ramp druid better because they can get those cards out sooner. Emperor Thaurassian could be out on t3 with wild growth and innervate making your FoN, Savage roar, Ancients, dragons, beasts or whatever cheaper and boosting your expected burst or pushing up the timing of it.
How does it compare to Harvest Golem and Spider Tank? I don't see 5/2 being chosen very often so it's basically a 2/5 for 3 mana most of the time which isn't particularly good or bad. If Transform really can't be silenced back to a 2/2, a 2/5 (stat wise) seems stronger than Harvest Golem although not as sticky. I would have personally preferred: "Choose One - Transform into a 4/3 minion; or a 3/4 minion" to get out Priest range. That would have been better than Spider Tank which has decent stats, but loses out to Shade of Naxxramas in the long game. Shade is good and all, but given the lack of viable 3 drops I'm really hoping for some more diversity.
Does people even play arena with anything but mage nowdays? This card is an answer to the most popular wall in arena - Sen'jin Shieldmasta Also it kills another arena mvp - Chillwind Yeti and unlike Magma Rager is not dying when anyone looks at it. And of course it can clear the table of annoying 3/2 pests.
I wish there would be more common cards like this but maybe i am biased. For me any card that does not have RANDOM in its description is a good card by default.

You'd play Shadow Of Naxxramus over it though.
Druids already have strenght enoug. This card is a filler, which is ok in case of Druid.
"The light shall burn you!" - heals face.
5/2 against warrior that relies on weapon for early removal....ouch!
Also synergises with Druid of the Fang.
Mediocre card.... but it's here to stay. Maybe not now, but it might be a centerpiece in the next expansion.
Time to make a druid glass cannon deck! Magma rager, druid of the flame, Rend, ancient of war in attack form, maybe Illidan?

One of the worst BRM cards..
Who can take your trash out?
Stomp it down for you?
Shake the plastic bag
and do the twisty thingy, too?
druid cards sux everytime new release... SUX!
Choose one: Magma Rager or Cabal Shadow Priest target
Eh cabal is only in one class, sometimes two if mage gets a lucky unstable.
Good anti-aggro card and versitile (can be used in 5/2 form against stuff like priest and get very good value out of it)
Time is money, friend.
This card would be good once the dragon hype calms down. But for now, off to the closet.
I love scrubs
Balanced class card = bad.

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
Because Emperor Thaurissan makes Savage Roar/FoN even more broken.
Emperor Thaurissan

Thank god Blizzard is finally giving us that beast synergy Druid players have been demanding since day one.
Good arena card but I dont see it being played alot on constructed.
