Too many people are thinking of the most advantageous position situation for this card and calling it OP based on that.
Reality: it's an under-statted 6-drop that has no immediate effect on the board. By playing it, you're sacrificing immediate tempo for (potentially) huge tempo gain in the future (Sylvanas, a card that usually represents a big, immediate tempo gain, is not going to be displaced by Thaurissan). Turn 6 is a point at which the game may already be slipping from your grasp if you're playing a slow deck and/or holding a lot of cards to try to get Thaurissan value. This card will not save you from a bad start, particularly against a very aggressive opponent.
Of course, it is a great card, and it's going to be really, really good in decks that can stall through the early game and build huge hands. Handlock and freeze mage come to mind—I can see it being strong with Echo of Medivh too, and lots of tempo-oriented decks will be able to take advantage of it (I think it will be very strong in a dragon paladin deck). But it's not an insanely overpowered monster that's going to be auto-include in every deck.
My first impression is that this is disgustingly OP. In control decks this will basically be a 6 mana 5/5 that gives you 2 innervates to use for the rest of the game (for the cards in your hand).
Only time that this is bad is when top decking.
Can't wait to use it with my turn 10 Jarraxus with complimentary 6/6.
Ugh, I just feel this card becomes a lot more balanced if you reduce the cost of cards at the start of your turn.
That being said, a regular ol' 5/5 isn't a strong T6 play in a control deck, and you might not be in a position to play it depending on what you're facing down on board.
And THAT being said, it's probably still too early to make calls on this!
Easy auto-include in any control/combo deck. This might revive many insane decks like Miracle Rogue and the old combo Hunter, the OTK variation of Handlock (basically any archetype that went away because of upping the cost of a combo piece). This card's only weakness is that it's slow. Also card-hoarding decks might make some GvG cards surprisingly viable (Goblin Sapper anyone?). Either way this card will probably get nerfed some time after the launch, it has just too much impact on the game.
Stealthing him won't actually do anything because when his ability activates at the end of the turn, it kills the stealth. It's the same with Fel Cannon.
It doesn't lose Stealth as it doesn't deal damage.

Thats strange. How come Blood Imp doesnt de-stealth after its activation every turn.

Stealth is lost when a card does damage. Emperor does no damage, and thus won't lose stealth.
Seems like a pretty solid card in basically anything but an aggro deck. Obviously most powerful when you've got more cards in hand. I think changing it to start of next turn would be a huge nurf and make it almost unplayable as it would be far too easy to get no value out of his ability which would just make him a really bad card. A 5/5 for 6 mana that does nothing for you.
Since the neutral 6 none legendaries or piloted skygolem drops suck and I don't own either I will probably help me and other relatively new players without all legendaries and stuff well.. have late game decks..
currently there are no way to get a late game deck without tonnes of dust and I really like the direction of this card it makes late game cards.. well less costy to use.. it actually makes nefarion playable.
This is the yin to Loatheb's Yang. Loatheb: slow down the game for your opponent, stop key combos.
Thaurissan: make all combos 2-5 mana cheaper on the turn he's played.
I'm actually beyond excited about this card. I love combo decks, I always have. This guy is going to give them a comeback.
Loatheb's ability is a battle cry. Thaurissan's is not. Not only are they the yin and yang but Thaurissan has much more potential than Loatheb as it continues to stack as long as it's alive.

Maybe a return of Stealth Rogue? Or the start?
Main Classes are Shaman, Mage, and Hunter.
holllly balllzz
This will be great for Rogues!

Hand with 6 cards? Yeah, 5/5 for 0 over time. The tempo swing makes that a bit weaker than that, but still.
Think of all the combos you could build up by protecting this guy. Echo, duplicate, stealth it. Insane.

There. That's how I'm going to use him.

this is like the loatheb of BRM
I guess it could potentially make Gazlowe more viable, playing 2 mana spells to get mechs that get cheaper.
But I guess you would probably play this with other, better cards.
Gadgetzan Auctioneer though...

*screams rogue internally*
I think this card can potentially revive Miracle Rogue and enable even more crazy combo decks. My Velen OTK may see some light now, yay.
