Actually, Nefarian may become the staple 9 mana play because 9 mana legendaries are pretty bad. Ysera and Alexstrasza are the only two being played. Ysera is good but too slow and Alex is very situational.
I sort of wish it read, "gain two copies of spells from your opponent's deck" . Then again, by turn nine your opponent may have used all their useful spells, and you'll end up getting meh cards. Still very interesting, I'm looking forward to see what ppl can use him for.
I might try him in a rogue bounce deck. Nefarion => *get spells* => shadowstep => Nefarion => User the remaining 3 mana to play a spell or two hopefully.
C'mon regardless of how practical he is Nefarian is cool and it's a cool effect.
There's only 4 useless spells... Deadly Poison, Shield Slam, Blade Flurry and Totemic Might, as Tinkers sharpsword oil can be used as a buff card without a weapon, and even shield slam can be used with spell damage minons.
PS: I wonder if you get cards when you're playing in adventure mode with Nefarian.
Interesting card IMHO. He's essentially a 9 mana 8/8 who lets you draw 2 cards. Very similar to Ancient of Lore and Neptulon, and depending on the situation he can be better or worse than them.
PROS:
You can draw 2 cards for 1 mana (a standard 8/8 would cost 8 mana).
Just like Lay on Hands, you probably won't play the cards in the same turn.
RNG can give you shitty cards (Moonfire, anyone?).
I agree on you analysis. I actually could see it in Druid, in a top heavy ramp druid it would give you card advantage with a body on the board. I think this cards has potential in some decks, but wont be a auto include in everything. 9 Mana is problematic but the body is nice.
I wonder what happens if a non-priest gets Shadowform?
Shadowform works the same for all classes
Illidan Stormrage
Nefarian will be in all my decks for sure
Welp, this is right up my alley. I'm salivating over all of the greedy, greedy decks I am going to make with this bastard.
What class cards do you get from Nefarian when your opponent is Jaraxxus? Warlock?

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.

That's now what you're going to get. Face is reliable and efficient for a reason.
I like this card. Somewhat sticks to the flavor of the Nefarian fight in WoW.
Jaraxxus only replaces Gul'Dan, both are still Warlock. So yeah, warlock spells.
warlock cards
i prefer handlock over zoo.
well, nefarian is... fun. he is not something amazing ysera is still way better for me or even alex is better. but he is good for new players
Im sorry but this card is just terrible
Should have been exactly like ysera except it gets two opp class spells instead of a dream card every turn
Its ability isnt even that "fun" or "cool" after what we've seen from GvG
First impression: COOL

Auto Include in my Druid deck :)
Ya know it's called a "fun" card not everything needs to be viable for the "meta"

Im starting to think I may have wasted my money on BRM. Oh well maybe someone will find a way to play him.
