If I'm top decking, I probably have the mana to play a large minion with more impact like Gahzrilla, or would rather draw into a more immediate solution. Flexible cards are interesting, but spending a deck slot on a relatively weak 4-drop with the potential to be a later game War Golem seems bad (beast or not).
i think the only good thing about this card is arena.. doesnt fit anywhere else (will never get the battlecry unless u are playing sort of facehunt and if u are playing facehunt u rather have immediate dmg card or sticky minion rather than a situational 4 drop.. i like the card actually coz hunter is pretty awful in arena and this card is pretty helpful only there (esp when u go to topdeck mode)
Well, it encourages more rush face hunter, which I'm not a fan of, but a pretty cool card. The interesting mechanic is that, if you know your opponent is likely running a BGH, you can play around it and just drop it as 4/4. I don't think it'll see much play in constructed, though.
Being that it's a beast, a 4/4 for 4 is a pretty good draft pick for hunter, especially since a lot of arena games can end up going into topdeck wars, it may actually be a game-winning draw occasionally. No point in comparing it to Tallstrider since that's a common and this is a rare.
Contrary to popular belief, face hunter do want to keep cards in their hand like KC and owls so they can get through taunts and do the last bit of damage, they also want to hero power as much as possible. Face hunter wants the damage then and there, a arcane golem when topdecking is much better than a 7/7 that gives your opponent time to remove.
It's actually not good, because it's only useful if you get to topdeck mode. If you purposefully run a deck where you run out of cards super quickly, you're retarded anyways. Also BGH.
Have you ever played against Hunter? The aggressive versions run out of cards by turn 3...
They don't, face hunter want to hold cards like KC and owls that let then get through the last bit of damage and you want to get as much value out hero power as possible by using it. Plus, a 7/7 that give your opponent time to remove is much worse than a arcane golem 4 damage straight to face.
I don't think this card is terrible but it's not overly good either. I suspect most people will be seeing this as a webspinner random more than actively playing it as a card in their deck.
A 4 drop 4/4 is just under vanilla yeti but it's a beast which helps it break somewhat even. If you're ever in a situation where the battlecry does trigger, that's just bonus.
Perhaps mindless face hunter builds that dump their hands can make use of this but most face hunters I play against don't really dump their whole hands. There's almost always an owl, kill command or unleash that they're saving for that opportune moment.
In arena, I see this as a below average draft, losing out over yeti. Arena is all about the value game and this card only gets true value when your hand is empty or with potential beast synergy. Beast synergy can be made up elsewhere and in arena you want to try to keep a card advantage so....it to me does not seem like a very good pick.

Well those decks have gotten fairly high legend ranks and has a huge bulls-eye on its back for complaints, and oh, did I mention how effective those decks have been since Naxx was released?
And this card doesn't do face damage immediately so it's bad for facehunter. Why would you play a 7/7 when you can hit face for 4, the 7/7 would just get remove most of the time. Also, face hunter do hold cards, KC and owls are the cards that sit in your hand most of the time until you can kill with them because hero power is value.
It will still just be a 4/4 coming out of a Sky Golem which is only decent, not amazing. The best things to get from the Sky Golem will still be the Pit Lord and the new Hungry Dragon, at least when just taking stats into account.
The truly awesome thing about this card is, maybe there will be an awesome Trolden video of a Core Rager topdeck in arena to make a 7/7 followed by a mighty topdecked Hemet Nesingwary snipe.
This is probably not really an aggro card but a more midrange combo card. Think playing this turn 8 dropping a one drop, three drop and this emptying your hand. That is a fairly significant board. However youd probably rather be playing shredder instead. Maybe if we see a more beast oriented hunter with tundra rhino will this see more play.
I dont see this card being all too great at all. We still don't know what all the cards are going to be or how the meta will change once all of its released. This card seems too situational imo

Core hound, core rager, the beast + tundra rhino meta incoming!

Time is money, friend.
Actually there is something AWESOME about this card . . . .
It might drop from a Sky Golem!
It won't have its battlecry...

DO NOT WANT!!!
This is statement is false.

Face hunters dont empty their hands either really, as hero power is often optimal.
Its a bad card that will never see play imo.
December rank 74 legend :)

guess giving hunter crappy new cards is one way to bring them down in line with other classes.
This card might actually get me to play Hunter. The card concept is so fun for me.
Aggro Hunter Card.

Looks like the card is made to be built around non-hybrid, pure aggro. Usually by turn 4, your hand is near empty
