If this is the kind of game they are after, then I don't really know how to describe it. Providing such a card that tolerates a concept they've been condemning for ages, so when things go south, they make an excuse to nerf another heavily playable card instead (or along with). Something doesn't feel right here and completely doesn't make sense.
I guess we shouldn't blame the players anymore if the developers already know what's up and yet still make what we are beholding right now.
Even though the card doesn't seem promising to me presently -in any archetype- as I see it, the idea of thinking about it and actually turning it into reality tells a lot.
If they really think that it's okay to have strong aggro/face hand-dumping decks and archetypes wandering around, then they shouldn't really play the role of defenders of the light who shall befall retribution upon those who cause games to be less fun to play.
You can't harass members who play Face Hunter, nor are they compelled to make preemptive apologies or justifications for playing it. They don't hack or crack their opponents' game, they simply play existing cards that form a specific deck. If you suck at countering Face Hunter, you should blame the designers, not the community.
"As part of ongoing communication with the WoW developers, it has been agreed that Hearthstone is now the official source of WoW lore. We hope you look forward to seeing Ragnaros, Lightlord in Legion!"
Meh. Slightly worse Lost Tallstrider most of the time, and casting it with upside means you either are already losing, or already winning. We'll see, I guess, but I can't see this in midrange builds, and I don't hink face hunter is in the market for non-charge four drops.
It's actually not good, because it's only useful if you get to topdeck mode. If you purposefully run a deck where you run out of cards super quickly, you're retarded anyways. Also BGH.
For people saying "BGH counters", no, not really. Given that this occupies a 4 slot, BGH doesn't get much value if you play it against Core Hound. Core Hound MAY see usage should a control/midrange hunter come up, it has decent combo value.
This is very bad. Emptying your hand is a generally terrible idea (Hunter does not have access to Divine Favor) even in Face Hunter where you can't afford to be out of steam by turn 4. Playing this on curve with the buff will be basically impossible because you will have to play 6 cards on turns 1-3 and then topdeck this on your turn 4. Later in the game you might be able to pull off the buff, but you will be doing so without being able to play good cards like Highmane and Dr. Boom.
DISCUSS!
me like, me hit face, me kill
They're bringing back the 90% face hunter meta again.
Blizzard know what's up, but I don't get it.

A step in the wrong direction :(

"Put your face in the light!" - Tirion Fordring
More stuff for Face Hunter, one reason to keep BGH in your hand when facing them
Try to kill huntard -> Try to revive huntard?
But as someone said, BGH target, most of decks has at least 1 so it'll be the only one target in aggro hunter. I'm not sure what to think about it :D
bad card is bad
